Cheers erupted around me. My head was fuzzy from the hurrahs radiating from the blue team. I smiled as I was congratulated and slapped on the back.

Percy and Jason lifted me onto their shoulders and began chanting. Nico grinned at me from below and gave me a small thumbs-up. Even though they had lost, Will was smiling up at me and the rest nodded approvingly.

After dinner, Nico, Hazel, and I crashed onto our beds exhaustedly. A cot had been brought in for me to sleep on so Hazel could sleep in her own bed.

"Well, that was fun," I sighed tiredly.

Hazel and Nico nodded their heads in agreement.

"Told you," Nico replied.

I concurred, "Yeah, you did."

Hazel was already asleep. Soon after, Nico and I slipped into sleep without another word spoken between us.

I awoke to Hazel and Nico shaking my shoulders and bouncing on my bed.

"Wa-a-a-ke u-u-up!" they shouted in between bounces.

I didn't open my eyes and laughed. "Okay, okay, you win. I'm up," I surrendered.

Hazel snorted. "Hmm. I didn't know you walked around with your eyes closed."

"Ha-ha," I fake-laughed. "Fine," I said, opening my eyes and sitting up.

"Better?"

"Much." Nico nodded.

"Let's go!" Hazel exclaimed, taking my hand and practically dragging me out of bed.

"Go where?" I asked.

"Breakfast, duh," Nico answered.

I shot Nico a look as Hazel shoved me into the bathroom. She threw a pair of clothes at me before slamming the door.

  Wow.

  They really liked breakfast.

I heard Hazel and Nico laughing from behind the door. I chuckled and shook my head as I pulled on the shirt Hazel had chucked at me.

As soon as I was finished getting ready, I slipped on a pair of sneakers and the three of us walked down to the dining pavilion.

After breakfast, Will offered to take me down to the archery range so I could try it. I agreed, and we chatted as we walked.

As we approached, Will pointed out a tall, beautiful girl that was our age. He told me that she was his sister and how amazing she was at archery. As we got closer, I could make out the girl's features more clearly. She had gorgeous, curly brown hair that fell to her shoulders and stunning hazel eyes.

Will called to her and waved. She shot an arrow and hit the bullseye with a loud thunk before looking over at us. Her face lit up when she saw Will, and she waved back.

We walked up to her and Will enfolded the girl in a hug.

"Hey, Emily! Nice shot! I was just bringing Kaitlyn over here so she could try it out," Will said, gesturing to me.
