7. [Charlie Conway]

Alright so I'm watching D3 again and just... Charlie... 

You, along with the rest of the team, were hanging out in your living room, binge watching each person's favorite movie. It was winter break, and you all missed each other over the past couple days, so you decided to get together. 

Unfortunately, some part of the heating system in your house broke, and so all of you were wrapped in mountains of blankets, huddling and trying not to freeze. You and your best friend, Charlie,were sat together on the couch, while everyone else huddled like penguins on the floor. 

"You know, I have no idea why people keep thinking we're dating," Charlie blurted after a moment. 

"Me neither," you replied, resting your head on his lap, adjusting the sleeves of his hoodie on you. At this point, Julie turned around, mouth agape in shock while she looked at the two of you. 

"Are you two kidding me?" she asked, catching the attention of everyone else in the room. 

"What?" you asked innocently, nuzzling further into Charlie for warmth. 

" 'I don't get why people think we're dating' IT'S BECAUSE YOU ACT LIKE A NEWLY MARRIED COUPLE ALL THE TIME!" Julie yelled, exasperated. Everyone in the room agreed. 

"Yeah, honestly, the only difference between you and an actual couple is that the actual couple kiss," Adam chimed in ,smirking. 

"Oh, whatever," Charlie scoffed, though his arm didn't move from it's place around my middle.

We finished the first movie, and were well into the second, when I felt Charlie lean down close to me. 

"You know, I've been thinking about what they said," he whispered. I turned around to face him, and found we were merely inches apart.

"Yeah? What about it?" I whispered back, looking into his mischievous blue eyes. 

"And, w-well, I was thinking that I want to be more with you. I want us to be a couple," he said nervously. I grinned, reaching up to cradle his cheek, and give him a gentle kiss. 

"Me too, Spazway."
