Quad's private jet landed on a runway on a restricted lane in the airport. His spies were already there waiting for him. they brought Quad, Helix, and Adenine to a small room where they told them everything they knew.

"The shed is actually a military base so I would proceed with caution. Good Luck!" He concluded.

They took a bumpy unused trail and got to the shed. As Quad's guards stepped out of the jeep, robots shot lasers into their heads. A gun dropped to the ground from each of their lifeless fingers.

The Shadow spun around and pointed one of it's obsidian daggers at an incoming robot guard. Seeing that it was no threat, The Shadow lowered it's blade.

"They came,"

"Just as I thought they would," A smile curled onto the hooded figure's unseen face. They were not going to get away from It this time. The Shadow would personally make sure of that. Or so was the plan until a government secretary walked in carrying a message.

"Wha—?" She said seeing the robot.

The Shadow's instincts caused it to throw a blade into the secretary's heart. She slowly sank to the ground, blood gushing out of her body. The Shadow walked toward and snached the letter from the secretary's hands.

"Well somebody is going to have to clean up this mess. And it is not going to be me!" Then The Shadow walked towards the exit.

"You'll never get away with this," The secretary weakly said.

The hooded figure stopped and turned it's head backwards a little bit. "I think I already have," With that it left the room.

"Was I supposed to clean up the dead body?" The robot, using his 'confused' voice, asked nobody in particular.

Quad leapt out of the car as lasers ripped the jeep apart. Looking back at the car, he saw Helix and Adenine struggling but fine. He quickly turned his head back at the robots and drew one of the new gun designs from his belt. He leapt this way and that dodging the lasers, but at the same time shooting at the robots. Helix and Adenine got out soon after the battle began and joined in.

The robots may have been good, but The trio was better. They walked confidently down the path leading towards the shed. A beep came out of Quads walkie talkie before a voice said "All men are in position sir,"

"Good, we are nearing the shed. Tell your men to cover their butts."

"I want all air defence units ready!" hissed the Shadow.

"Sorry to dissapoint but they need an hour prep,"

How? They couldn't get away this time. But she already knew that they didn't stand a chance against Quad's mini army.

The hooded figure stormed over to a worker and said, "Ready my jet!"

"Who is attacking sir?"

"Qu- Er, unidentified hostiles," it said catching itself. It wasn't the first time he had forgotten that these people thought he was part of the government.

"Sir! Our scanners are picking up large air units coming our way!"

The Shadow ran up the hall and into a hangar bay. He got in a small stealth ship and started the engine. It put the engine on full thrust and soared off.

Helix thought this was the happiest time he had in the entire week. Quad obviously didn't agree. He was allowed to fly the plane for this time but could tell that Quad was regretting that decision. He landed the plane with a slight thud and ran out the door. The blast doors were already closing but he sprinted at them anyway. As he ran, he thought of different ideas that would stop the doors from closing. No answer came. He vaguely saw Adenine and Quad running behind him. He glanced back and saw Quad throwing a small object through the door.

BOOM! The bomb grenade exploded behind the closed doors. Screams filled his ears. Not seeing where he was going, Helix bumped into the doors. He fell on the ground where he lay sprawled. "Get a surgeon!" Quad yelled. The world blacked out.

"Devil! report in! Report in!"

"Sir! The Devil fled,"

"What?" he asked in disbelief. "Why?"

"When the unidentified hostiles came, The Devil fled," he reported, "I need to go I think the hostiles are here," He ran into the control room and saw the mess. People ran around hurriedly trying to do something. Then he heard a loud Crack! Everyone stopped working and looked up as a shaft came closer and closer. 5 black figures leapt out from the shaft. All of the men stared up in horror. The lieutenant was the first to snap out of the paralysis.

"I want everybody at the guns!" Too late. The trio landed softly on the floor and drew their weapons.

"We want no violence!" Quad said looking the lieutenant in the eye, "All we ask for is the Devil."

"Th-the D-Devil f-f-fled!" he stammered.

Quad turned toward Helix and Adenine. Then turned back to the lieutenant.

"Move out of the way!" he barked, "Let's go!" They moved past the crowd of awestruck scientists. Running past several opened or closed doors, they finally arrived at the hangar bay.

The fresh smell filled their noses making them cough and sputter. It seemed as if the Shadow had purposely put gas there to slow them down. Well, it worked. They put on masks and headed further into the hangar.

The source of the gas was obvious. A gas tank was slowly releasing gas. Quad quickly and effectively covered up the tank and put it to the side.

"They should be here now," Quad muttered as he cleared the planes to the side.

"Who should be here?" the sibling

s asked in unison.

They looked at each other then said, "Jinx! 1, 2, 3... 10!"

"I'm glad that you are having fun but we have more pressing matters to handle," he had carefully dodged their question. He knew that if the knew that another... person... had survived his first mission and was coming, they would be mad. "Ah! They're here." An aircraft landed and a man dropped from a hatch. He landed softly with obvious skill. The newcomer looked similar to Quad. He had the same brown hair and features but had blue eyes like Helix and Adenine's.

"Who are you?" Adenine asked, already recovered from her shock.

"Hello Adenine, Helix. I'm Quinn, or the Assassin, or... Quad's son."
