4 years later

It had been a long time since the disaster. They had been rebuilding them army and just recently started to regain their old strength. Quad wasn't too worried. He now had both Helix and Adenine alongside him.

Quad walked down a hall towards a heavily protected research lab. "Doctor!" said Quad. The troubled doctor jumped in surprise. He had hadn't heard Quad enter the lab. "You surprised me, sir. I didn't hear you come in!"

"I just came to see how the guns were going. Adenine and Helix are getting impatient."

"Well, children need to have more patience. That is a skill that could also be used elsewhere."

"I suppose so, but the guns!"

"It seems that all the new features are working fine. The grappling units are working out better than we anticipated. We still need to run some tests. Next week at the least."

"Good. See that it is finished." With that, Quad left the room.

Finally, they could launch another attack. The hooded figure had waited so long for his revenge on Quad and his retched S.A.S.S. And Quad would be able to do nothing about it. This time, the robots would beso advanced that it would seem that they were fighting babies. This time, Quad would be unprepared. This time, the plan would have no mistakes.

"Sir! The guns are ready!" said the Doctor.

"Good! Thank you! I will bring them to the children immediately,"

"And Quad?"

"Yes?"

"As you said, they are mere children. I don't think you should put so much pressure on them,"

"Thank you Doctor for your concern, but no,"

"Adenine! Helix! I got your guns!"

"Finally!" they said. "We've been waiting for sooo long!"

Taking the guns they started to try out the new features. They used the grappling unit inside to go up to the ceiling, they cut balls of metal in half with the laser, blasted things with the laser blaster, and also tased things. The taser didn't just give one jolt, it continuously shot electricity out. Also, it didn't use wires.

"Now, now children. You shouldn't destroy all of these things! You will need them later in your training,"

"Technically we are training" countered Helix.

"But not in the way these materials are used for! End of story. If you want to destroy things, go to a dump and see if you can borrow some garbage."

"No, no, no. It's completely fine,"

The hooded figure stooped over a computer. The screen was filled with lines of code. Anyone would think it was coding a program, but if you knew the code, you would see that it was actually hacking into a military base.

It had been hacking various government related bases. It had always used a code name: The Devil. As far as the government knew, the figure was one of their special associatives. As one of them, the hooded figure had gained a lot of key information. If it wanted the government, these small bits of information would be very important. Every small bit would count. So far there was nothing new. The president ate at Antonio's, the secretary stopped by Blue Candies for a lollipop, etc.

But the hooded figure was so very close from getting government tracking codes. Each person who worked at the White House or in the government had a tracking code. It was to see if they were getting into any trouble or needed help. Only extremely high ranking officers knew even one tracking code. Since "The Devil" and the rest of the associatives didn't actually work at the White House or in the Court, they didn't have a tracking code. Another reason that the hooded figure chose this area of the government to be in.

But if it couldn't earn them, it would have to hack them. The countdown began. 2:00. It was very hard to get the codes, especially through hacking. Then the hooded figure realized something, these special codes would not be stored in the database. The hooded figure would do it by force. 1:05, 1:04, 1:03...

A reminder appeared at the corner of the screen. You Received a New Message. The message automatically printed. The hooded figure opened the message. "Oh no you don't!"

The message printed and was obviously an invitation. The hooded figure ripped it apart and stormed out. The message floated to the ground. Report to safehouse. 7:00 sharp.

Helix sat cross legged on the floor. He was soooo bored. There was nothing to do.

"Helix!" Adenine called giddily, "We caught sight of the hooded figure!"

Helix stood up. "That isn't good news sis,"

"The hooded figure was going into the government's most secure safe house," Adenine replied ignoring Helix's remark, "We are to go there with Quad in 5 minutes. Just came here to tell you,"

Helix stood up and walked out the door along with Adenine.

"Ah! Helix! You came!"

"Ya! Well, what else would I do? Sitting there for a second longer and I would have died," Helix replied, "Anything's better than sitting there!"

"Here look!" Quad pointed at a blank wall which lit up and showed a map of America. He pointed at a red dot on the screen, it was marked with a little shed and AG.

AG, Helix thought, America's Government. What would the hooded figure be doing there?

"Our agents in the Government believe that The Shadow-"

"The Shadow?" Helix interrupted with a puzzled expression. He'd never heard of The Shadow. Was Quad referring to the hooded figure?

"Is the Shadow the hooded figure?"

"Yes Adenine. And as I was saying before you so rudely interrupted, The Shadow is in One of the Government's most secret and secure agencies. The Shadow is most likely trying to track the president."

"And how is this going to be helpful?"

"We're going to the shed."

The Hooded Figure walked quietly unnoticed into the shed. 'So thats what they're calling me. The Shadow, it has a nice ring to it.'
