Capricorn(F)+Aries(M) True feelings... Part 2

"Ugh, mum, stop fussing," I groan in annoyance. As we walk down the hospital hallway she holds her hand out in front of me while glaring at everyone who walked past as if she thought they were all terrorists. We walk past a middle-aged man and mother kills him with her eyes.

"So-sorry, sir," I mumble out as he walks past cursing in annoyance under his breath. I turn back to my mother.

"Mum, I beg of you, please, stop," I say pleadingly as I hold her back by her wrist. She lets out a pathetic laugh at herself as she sighs.

"I'm sorry sweetie. I guess I was just so afraid. I almost lost you and in my eyes, it could have been anyone in that car," she says looking towards the ground with wet eyes as she remembers how it felt. I feeling so guilty for putting her through that.

"I'm sorry this happened," I say as I look towards the ground in shame. There is a second of silence before I feel her hand on my cheek. I look up to meet her gaze.
"Sweetie, you have nothing to be sorry for,"

We went home and readied everything for school tomorrow.

It's the next day and I was in the hallway walking with Taurus. We were on our way to see Virgo. Virgo's parents are crazy strict and think that friends are a distraction. I felt so sorry after hearing from Taurus how much she was going through without her parent's support. We were walking down the hallway and my face fell as I saw Aries emerge from the corner. Seeing him reminds me of the events that happened no more than three days ago. I was talking with Taurus not long after waking up in the hospital when he arrived at the door. I remember what he said.

"It wasn't just an excuse." If it wasn't an excuse then why was he there? Why do I care? And why am I confused? All these questions filled my head, but my mother walked in before I had the chance to ask any f them. He told me it was good to see me doing okay before he made a hasty escape. I saw him come around the corner and stopped walking, he, at the other end of the hall also froze.

"Whats wrong?" Taurus asked as she tried to follow my gaze only to find Aries at the end of it.

"Oh, I see," she says with a knowing smile.

"You know what, I'm going to go on ahead to see Virgo. I'll see you there," she says before leaving me. Trying to act cool and calm I marched down the hallway towards him.

"Why did you come and see me?" I immediately ask.

"Well, hello to you too," he says smiling and I sigh in annoyance. I glare at him as I continue to press him for answers, but he just ignores me.

"Your face looks a lot better. Last time I saw you it was really bruised, but you almost look normal now," he says as my frustration begins to boil over.

"Why aren't you answering?" I asked and get was silent.

"It's not often you come up and talk to me, is it?" He asks and gets even more confused. Taking advantage of the silence I had while trying to make sense of his words he walks away.

"What is with him?" I say out loud to myself.

"What is with me? Oh no." After releasing my feelings I run to my friends in hope that if I run fast enough my feelings would get left behind...It didn't work.

School ends and I go to leave. When I get outside I see Aries waiting.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"You're going home right, I'll go with you," he says standing beside me while he waits for me to start walking.

"I'm not, I have to wait here for my mum to finish work because she doesn't want me walking home anymore," I say blankly.

"That's good, I'll wait with you."

We have been waiting outside of school for an hour and haven't said much. I decided to make use of the time and got out my homework.

"Do you know when your mum will get here?" he asks.

"Not till five," I say and he sits down next to me.

"What's this?" He asks looking at my textbook.

"Italian," I say as he tries to read the unfamiliar language.

"I didn't know you did Italian," He says surprised.

"Why would you?" I ask and he looks up at me from the textbook, our noses centimetres apart. I quickly stand up and take a few steps away.

"Whats wrong? Is it your head? Does it hurt?" He asks running after me.

"Yes, yes it does hurt, but not because I got hit by a car," I say using all my strength to hold back the tears that have been building up behind my eyes since the accident.

"Why, what's wrong?" He asks seeming genuinely concerned.

"Why are you here?" I ask and he looks down silently.

"Won't answer, Okay then, try this one, why were you at the hospital?" I ask and again he is silent.

"See, this, I hate it, Talk, tell me wh-" I Start to raise my voice but then get cut off by a pair of lips forcefully meeting mine. After processing what's happening I kiss back and after few seconds our lips part and we silently look down, still holding each other closely.

"Does that answer your question?" He asks and all I can do is nod silently.
