Gemini POV:
I groan as I wake up to the sound of my phone blaring. I reach out and see a call coming in from my friend. That's right I promised to go to the shops with her yesterday. I really wanted to go then, in fact, it was my idea, but now I just feel like staying in and watching some Netflix. I've already bailed on her once. I guess I have to go. I reluctantly answer the phone.
"Hey, Libra," I groan through the speaker half asleep.
"Hey Gem, ready to go?" She asks. I guess she thought it necessary to check up on me since I bailed last time.
"Well, not yet-" I say and immediately get cut off by her screaming.
"What! You're not bailing on me again are you?" She asks panicked.
"No, I'm just running late, I'll be there in ten," I say before hanging up the phone and falling back into bed.
"I guess I should probably get up," I say talking to myself before I sit up in bed and stretch. I get ready as fast as I can before running out the door to meet Libra.
I arrive at Macca's where we arranged to meet, only to find a grumpy set of scales standing there. Libra glares at me for a bit as I casually say hi.
"Hey, Libra,"
"Nice to finally see you," she says still glaring.
"I know, I know, I'm sorry," I say trying to get the apology over and done with so we hang out then go home.
"We've been waiting for ages now," she says sighing.
"I know a said I was- wait, we?" I ask confused.
"My brother invited himself along," she says groaning.
"What, Leo, why didn't you say?' I ask cheerfully.
"You hang up before I could say anything,"
"Right sorry, so where is he?" I ask looking around curiously.
"He went to get some food because you were taking so long," she says trying yet again to make me feel guilty.
"Oh, okay," I say kind of disappointed.
"Well, well, well, look who finally showed up," I voice says from behind me. I turned to see Leo standing behind me with two frozen coke in his hand.
"Right, sorry for making you wait," I say slitty embarrassed.
"It's fine. Here," He says handing a the cokes to me and Libra. We thank him for the cokes and start to make our way around the shopping center. We hung out for a little while dragging Leo from shop to shop as we tried on different clothes. Leo suggested we go see a movie. We headed towards the cinema. After arguing about what movie to watch we ended up going with Dunkirk, Libra's idea.
"Hey, so why did Leo want to come?" I ask Libra as we wait in line for tickets.
"I don't know why he does anything," she says talking as if he's the typical annoying sibling.
"Come on he can't be that bad," I say and she gives me a 'you have no idea' sort of look before Leo comes back from the bathroom. We get our tickets and find our seats. We all sit down Leo at the end of the aisle me and Libra in-between us. Leo and Libra went to get food before the movie starts and some weirdo comes and sits in Libra's seat.
"Excuse me, sir, someones sitting there," I say confused.
"I didn't see anyone. Now why would a little lady like you be here by yourself?" he asks putting his arm over my shoulder.
"Excuse me!" I say standing up and pushing him away.
"Now, now no need to start a scene," he says standing up and moving closer. I start to panic when I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Excuse me, sir, these seats are taken," Leo says as cold as ice as he stands behind me his hand gripped tightly to my shoulder.
"Alright, kid, I'm leaving, I''m leaving," the man says backing away and tripping over the steps down to the lower seats. He sits down in the row in front of us a little more to my side.
"Libra, you can sit on the end further away from that creep," he says and Libra sits down. He takes my hand checking I'm okay.
"He didn't touch you did he?" He asks worried.
"No, I'm fine," I say and he sighs in relief.
"Okay, you sit here next to Libra, I'll take the seat closest to him," he says sitting me down.
"Thanks," I say still frozen in shock, but not because of the creep. I looked down to find Leo's hand still wrapped tightly around mine. We stay like that the whole movie.
