"Can you please behave? I don't need another call from Harry crying because you two are having a heated banter." Liam pleaded. He really didn't want to leave his sons home alone but it was his and Zayn's anniversary so they deserved a date night.
"Relax dad. I don't even know how he called you last time." Louis muttered, not taking his eyes off the footie match on TV.
"I told him if he presses the number one on the house phone and the green button it will call my cell. He's five Louis, he's not stupid."
"Sometimes he is."
"I heard that Louis! Be nice!" The man scolded, "Next time I will take your phone for two days."
"Daddy!" A squealing Harry ran butt naked into the living room, crashing into his father's legs."Save me daddy!" He giggled as he hid behind the man, thinking he was invisible to his papa that came running in after him.
"Harry! You're still wet and you need to put your pyjamas on!" Zayn held a towel in one hand and a pair of fresh pyjamas for the boy, who tried to start running again but luckily Liam has quick reflex and caught him before he could continue.
"Traitor daddy!" Harry huffed, but giggled has Zayn carried him upside down to his bedroom. "Feels funny papa." The boy laughed, "Everything looks funny."
"Does it? Is everything upside down?"
"M'huh." He was still laughing as Zayn put him down on the bed, quickly grabbing the bottle of lotion before the boy could sprint off again. "Do it again papa!"
"Pyjamas first young man." Zayn laughed, tickling the boy's tummy. "Mmm. Smell so good baby, I could eat you." He gently nibbled at the boy's toes.
"No. Don't eat me papa! Daddy would be sad!"
"He would, wouldn't he?" Zayn chuckled. "Alright, lift your bum up baby."
"Noooo papa. I already did five nights!" Harry whined. His fathers had explained that when he would wake up dry five times in a row he could go without pull-ups to bed. They had been trying since the boy was three but nothing seemed to work and Harry was getting quite fed up with the pull-ups.
"No baby. Only two nights. Remember?" Zayn spoke gently. If you spoke in the wrong tone you could send the boy into a crying fit. "Only three more nights baby." He smiled as he slid the pull-up up the boy's skinny legs. "And look. It's your favourite pyjamas! Look at the elephant!" Harry just huffed and crossed his arms.
"Papa?"
"Yes baby?"
"Can you stay with me tonight and Loulou go with daddy?"
Zayn let out a chuckle, gabbing the boy off the bed. "No, I'm sorry baby. But you'll just watch a movie with Ni and Loulou, then it's your bedtime and by the time you wake up, daddy and I will be right here."
"So I can jump on your bed in the morning?"
"Uh, we'll see about that." The man laughed before turning the boy upside down again as he walked back to the living room, the boy a giggling mess. The tears are inevitable when it comes to Harry and his parents leaving, he always has a good cry when his father's leave, even if it is just for a couple of hours. The boy is sensitive, he can't help it.
"B-but you'll come back?!"
"Of course baby boy, we always come back." Liam cooed. "A little bird just told me a certain little someone wants to have a little jump in our bed tomorrow." Liam whispered, making Harry nod as he tried to rub his eyes tiredly. "Well, if that certain little someone is good tonight, they might be allowed to have a little jump!"
