stg this is the last one I do before I start doing the ones from my request chapter again. Sorry !
It was obvious that Harry leaned more towards the opposite direction than most of his friends did. He always passed on the opportunity to play footie during recess, liking much more to just stand on the side line and cheer his friends on. If he had the chance to, he'd join some of the games that seemed more soft and gentle, or 'girly' if you put it that way, but apparently, he wasn't allowed because he was a boy.
He loved spending his afternoons at friend's houses, though he didn't like the rough play, but he enjoyed the company since no one wants to visit his house anymore after the tea party they were 'forced' to have. Harry still thinks they quite enjoyed it but are just too afraid to admit so.
Now that he was getting older, turning nine in just a few months, most of his friends were starting to have footie practice during the weekdays too, instead of just Saturdays. That made his time spent with friends limited and honestly, he felt quite bored during the afternoon. He even pondered for a moment if he should try football too, but after one rehearsal and lots of tears, Louis and Liam decided that it was probably not for the boy, and he shouldn't push himself into things just because his friends are doing it, he should try something he wanted to do.
So, it didn't come as a shock to the fathers when the boy said he wanted to do ballet, he was always at the edge of his seat whenever the family went to see a recital to watch Lottie's girls perform, and the men never missed it when Harry twirled once or twice, or maybe six times on the way to the car after said recitals. The boy was absolutely ecstatic when they took him to his first practice, though it took a good twenty minutes to get him to let go of his papa's hand and participate.

"Daddy?" Harry walked pouting into the kitchen were Louis was starting prep dinner. The boy was supposed to be doing his homework but he had heavier things on his mind. "What do you do when someone says you can't do something because it's only for girls?" The question made Louis turn around quickly and notice his pouting boy standing right behind him.
"Why do you ask, baby boy?" Louis cooed, wiping his hands on a tea towel before picking him up and placing him on the counter, brushing his curls away from his face and revealing his bright green eyes that looked like they were just about ready to shed tears.
"Jus' 'cause." Harry shrugged, leaning forward to rest his head on Louis' chest.
"Well. I do it anyways." Louis hummed. "Because nothing is just for a specific gender, everyone can do whatever they want, baby." The man wrapped his arms around the boy, hugging him tight as took in the scent of the boy's kid friendly shampoo. He hugged him tighter, if that was possible, when he heard a small sniffle from the boy. "You okay baby?"
"I-I don't wanna do ballet anymore daddy." Harry sniffled, removing himself from Louis' embrace to rub his eyes free of tears. The sight broke Louis' heart, and he knew the boy didn't mean it, he knew it was related to the question that he had just been asked. Plus, the boy had a recital in just a couple of days and he had been jumping around in excitement and hadn't stopped talking about it, but now that Louis thinks about it, the boy hadn't talked about it for a while.
"Why do you say that, sweetheart?" He tucked some of the boy's hair behind his ears, pressing gentle kisses onto his forehead which the boy leaned towards to. "Why did you ask me that question, huh?"
"Jus' some kids." Harry cried. "They said I can't do ballet b-because it's only for g-girls." He hiccupped, his breath hitching as he was getting himself worked up. "Said th-that they wouldn't play with me-e if I don't stop."
