I feel kind of bad for charming Oliva, but it's only for a week, honest. It's just... I fell head over heels when I saw zer, and I'm worried with me being a sophomore and all, ze'd friend zone me with a second thought. This way ze'll see me as a potential boyfriend rather than a lowerclassman.

Then today ze walks in to class looking so punk, I nearly fell out of my seat. Ze's three times as stylish as me, zer hair in sideways corn rows that fall over zer shoulder, black eyeliner, stone grey lips, a black t-shirt with lace sleeves that reads "What? You've never seen edgy before?" in a red gothic font, a thick red belt with silver spikes and a chain, skin tight shorts that barely meet dresscode's length requirement, knee high grey lace socks, and black lace up ankle high-heeled boots.

The sight of zer in such a cool outfit was shockingly beautiful.

"Hey Phillip."

"Hey yourself Olivia, your outfit is as hot as you are."

Olivia turned six shades of red as she replied.

"Thanks, skillet." Ze chuckled, still red.

"Skillet?" I asked, completely lost.

"Skillet cause' you're a pan?"

"Punny." I giggled.

The teacher finished role call and we got to work.

"What's you're monologue about?" I mused at Olivia.

"A boy in an abusive relationship breaking up with his girlfriend. Yours?"

"A girl confessing her crush on her brother's girlfriend."

We continued writing in silence for a bit, before ze broke it.

"Hey Skillet, you single?"

"Not if you don't want me to be."

"Good cause I was about to ask you out."

"Yes, Oliva. I would love to be yours."

"Yay!"

"What do you want me to refer to you as though?"

"Your lovefriend."

"I like that, it sounds cute." I turn off the charm, I don't want her to date me if she doesn't like me with out the magic.

Nothing changes and we both smile, exchange numbers and go back to writing.
