"Okay, today was officially tour best act!" Lunarìa giggled, her accent back. I snorted as I laughed. "I know! Nikki was all like, 'I'm sorry!' And your acting was on point!" She laughed harder. I sighed in content. "Tessa," she said. "You are very popular now. . .and you need a bo-" "No! I Lunarìa, not again!" I groaned. Ever since we'd accidentally come to the human worlds, we bought ourselves a mansion with a twenty four karat diamond (wink! wink!) that was from my sister's dress.
And some human clothes to replace our heavy gowns. "I can't believe it!" I'd screamed once Lunarìa showed me our new wardrobe. She told me that she wanted me to be the popular for once, so she acted like the nerd. I was eternally grateful to her for that. And everyone I talked to loved me! It was literally the best first day of school I'd ever had. Like, the next day, everyone talked to me. I'd felt bad for Lunarìa, so I added a little something about how she was super smart, claiming that I met her at this thing humans called a campsite.
So gradually, Lunarìa became a bit more popular, thanks to me, but not more than me. She made sure of that. One day, she "accidentally" crashed into a wall, and her hot chilli spilled down her shirt. I'll never forget her scream of pain, or the laughter of the kids in the cafeteria. Including Nikki and Rachel. I was furious at them that day.
Lunarìa's voice dragged me out of my thoughts as she called me for dinner. I blinked. When exactly did she leave? I peeked out of the blinds. The sun was setting. What the hell. How long was I thinking? Lunarìa called again, this time threatening to freeze my ass off if I didn't come downstairs. I chuckled and sped down the stairs. Lunarìa had outdone herself.
"Happy early birthday sister!" She squealed. I know what you're thinking. (And where you live) what? No I don't! Ha, ha you're crazy! Anyway, you're probably thinking. . .
WHY is Lunarìa so nice to Contessa now?!?!?!
Well that's because we've known for some time that the human worlds weren't exactly the safest places to live. So we've decided to stick together from now on. I've also learned that there is another side to Lunarìa. One that doesn't threaten to freeze my personal belongings. Beside tonight.
"Luna! You didn't have to do this!" I groaned, running my hands on my face. "I wanted to little sis." I smiled at Lunarìa. Her pale blonde curls fell down her back as she released them from her ponytail.
I smiled at her and wrapped my arms around her for a hug. She hugged me back. "Thank you, Lunarìa." I said. "No problem. And now for your present." Lunarìa walked into the huge guest room and I heard some rustling before she came back out. She was holding a tiny box. I smiled at her again and opened it. In it was a tiny ice chandelier. I tilted my head to the side, confused. "It will never melt. As long as you don't light it on fire." I was stilled confused. "Where am I supposed to hang it?" I asked. *In your heart,* she said in Starian. Starian was the language we spoke back home.
(*= speaking in Starian)
*Look closely at the ice crystals.* Lunarìa commanded. I lifted the tiny chandelier. It fit perfectly into the palm of my hand as if Lunarìa had spent several nights measuring my hand. *I did,* she chuckled. I rolled my eyes as I held the tiny ice sculpture to the lights. I gasped at what I saw. In every crystal, there was a memory of us. It was mostly Lunarìa asking me with a icicle or me chasing her with a ball of flame. But then there the human memories we made together. I smiled and set the tiny thing back in its box. "When you feel sad or lonely or you're having one of your nightmares, you can look at this and remember the good times."
My eyes filled with tears. *Thank you.* I said softly. She squeezed my shoulder. *No problem.* Lunarìa left me to collect myself.

I let out a sharp yelp and leapt from my bed. The sheets were sizzling, and tiny flames were dancing along my night clothes, eating the dark fabric. I was about to rub my hands on my face, but I stopped when they sparked and blue flame covered my whole hand. I yelped again and shook my hands furiously. "No, no, no, stop!" I cried. My arms were on fire now, and the flames were the deepest blue.
"Lunarìa!" I screamed. I watched the flames slide down my shoulders, my waist, my back. My hair lit alfame and the flames covered my eyes. "Lunarìa!" I screamed again. I heard her door slam open. Flame entered my mouth, my throat and I screamed in pain. Was my own fire. . .attacking me?
I sunk to the floor as the deep blue flames covered my entire body. I roared my sister's name again and I heard my door slam open- "Oh my stars!!* My sister screeched. "It burns," I cried. She placed her hands on my shoulders, but hers hissed and she shrieked in pain. Lunarìa brought an icicle to me, but four feet away, it melted. "The pool! Take me to the pool!" I choked. The fire was choking off my air. Lunarìa lifted me. Her hands were hard as rocks and colder than anything. She chucked me out of the window and I gasped as fire met water. It steamed and boiled the water. Lunarìa jumped in the pool a second later and froze the water with me under it.
My flames went out, but little blue flames still fought for control. It took hours for the cold to seep into my body, for my furious flush to go away. But once it did, Lunarìa unfroze the pool. I sunk to the bottom, motionless. My hand curled into a fist as tears leaked out of my eyes. Lunarìa was there in an instant, hauling me out of the now warm water. She ran her cold hands up and down my body, over and over until my temperature was the normal human temperature. "You're not going to school today." She said. "And neither am I." "But Lunarìa-" "What if you fall asleep and you have another episode? I'm sure you won't have that much friends if you burn them all."
Lunarìa had a point. If I accidentally burned all of my friends, I'm pretty sure I'd go to that human punishment place called jail for murder. She carried me inside and turned on the 92" tv for me and then set about making my breakfast.
***Hey guys! Its me, the best wrier in Wattpad. No, I'm totally kidding! I feel like I'm okay at writing. But what do you peeps think?
Anyway, the reason I chose this song was because to me its ice that slowly seeps into your skin when you lie in snow. That's what Lunarìa did to Contessa when she had one of her "episodes". She would cool down her flames. Also I was just feeling a bit sad and this song cheers me up.
It might seem sad to you dudes and dudettes, but the real version is even sadder. I cry every time I hear it😧!
I wonder if something is wrong with Contessa. Her own flames burned her. What so you peeps think? Write in the comments! Adios, 😘!
