A Talk with Yui

Yuvell's Pov

After Ayato and Subaru left I changed into my uniform....well part of it. I had only put on the top part and some skinny black jeans. I didn't really like the uniform skirt. Everything else I kept the same. When I finished I decided to visit Yui and see how she's holding up.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Yui? You awake?" She didn't reply so I knocked again.

"Yui?" All I heard was silence so I just decided to open the door. When I opened the door, I saw that she was still asleep. I walked over to her and sat on the side of the bed.

Hm? Wasn't she wearing something else?

Damn those bastards.

I let it go seeing how I can't do anything about it now. I move some of her hair to the side and check for bite marks.

*Hiss* ( Is she alright? )

"Yeah, by my guess, she probably fainted from all of this drama.*sigh* I'm just glad she's safe."

"Mmm?" Yui stirs in her sleep and slowly opens her eyes. "Yu-Yuvell?"

"Yui!" I came down to give her a big hug but instantly stopped.

*sniff*

Yui's.... crying?

"Yui? Are you okay?" I asked in a worried tone.

"W-Where were you? I-I was all alone with them and...and... I was so scared." Tears started to fall from her cheeks and on to the bed sheets. Oh man, now I feel really guilty leaving her alone. I sprinted off in this mansion knowing that she can't run fast and is practically defenseless. I lower myself down to Yui and hug her.

"I'm sorry I just-"

"Yuvell? Can I ask you a question?" Yui asked looking me in the eyes.

"Yeah what is it?" I said moving back.

".........Why did you and father lie to me?" Yui said with more tears building up.

"What? Yui what do you mean?" I said confused. She hands me a small booklet with a picture in it.

Oh no... is that?

I take the booklet and open it and sure enough, it was Mr. Kumori's diary. I read over the part where it stated how he adopted Yui and how I was sent away with Suki.... man, It seems only like yesterday when I was taken away.

~~~flashback~~~

"Come on Yui let's go play at our secret spot!"

"Okay." Yui and I ran as fast as our little legs could carry us to our hideout while Mr. Kumori and Miss Suki were talking inside the church.

Our secret hideout, or our secret spot, was a beautiful clearing surrounded by trees and flowers. There were more than enough flowers to fill up a pool and the trees were tall enough to say that it even touched the sky. A little ways past the trees was a Sakura tree and a small pond filled with various koi fish. It was truly a beautiful spot and at night the moon would aluminate the flowers and almost make a glowing trail to the Sakura tree. The pond as well looked like it glowed under the moonlight.

"Haha, so what are we going to do Yuvell-chan?" Yui said smiling.

"Oh wait, I forgot to get something. I'll be right back." I said running back to the church.
