Yuvell's Pov

I don't know why I'm running back to the mansion like my life depended on it. I don't even know why I chose to follow my gut when normally it would be ignored, but if it really has to do with Yui.......oh I hope nothing bad happened to her.

I was currently running through the dark forest and was getting small cuts from the branches along the way. However, I just ignored the small pain and just kept on going. A part of me felt bad for just ditching Akira, but I knew he would understand when I explain this to him later.

It wasn't long until I saw the mansion in sight. I quickly run up the little steps and burst through the doors.

"Yui?!" I yelled out of breath. I didn't see anybody at the entrance area so I ran to the living room, and then the kitchen, and then out in the garden......nothing. Well shit! Where is she?!?

I started to run again, but stopped when I passed by an open door that looked like it had a.....pool in it. I quickly walk in and see Yui with a towel over her head.

"Yui?"

"Yuvell?" Yui looks up at me in surprise and within a heartbeat, I am there hugging Yui.

"What happened? Your soaked! You didn't get hurt did-" I stopped talking to get another good look at Yui. It didn't even take me a minute to realize that there was blood flowing down her neck. She got bit? But who...?

"Yui.....who did this?" I said in a dark tone. I was soo furious that I didn't even notice that Yui was shaking due to how scary I looked.

"Ah.......um.."

"Who did this to You?!?!" I yelled at Yui.

"A-Ayato..." Yui stuttered looking at me in fear.

"......." My head was down with my hair covering my eyes.

He's dead....!!!

"Y-Your not going to do anything t-to him, r-right?"

I ignore Yui and run out of the room to search for the red head.

Where is he, where is he, where is he..!

I kept repeating the same phrase in my head over and over. In about five minutes, I found him in the living room. I didn't care if he was a vampire or not, I wasn't about to let him get away with it.

"You...You fucking bastard!!!!"

"Hm? Yuve-Argh!!" I full on tackle him to the ground and start punching his face.

"How dare you bite Yui!!"

"Oi, get off me!!" Ayato tried to push me off of him, but I wasn't budging. Because of his struggling, I would sometimes miss his head and punch the floor instead. My knuckles were bleeding a bit, but I didn't care.

"Yui's my precious cousin and you do this to her?! Not only did you bit her, but you thew her into the pool! Did you fucking know that she can't swim?!"

I move in to punch him again, but Ayato grabs my fists and flips me over. As soon as my back hits the ground, he pins my wrist down and puts all of his weight on me so I can't escape. Ayato's cheeks are now red and has a little blood running down his lips. He notices the blood and licks it up before looking back down at me.

"Get of me!!! I'm not done kicking your ass!!" I yell on the verge of tears.

"Do you know who your addressing to?" Ayato said in a low voice and lowers his head down about a couple inches away from mine.

"You and your cousin belong to Ore-Sama. You two should consider yourselves lucky to be alive because most of the brides we receive would be dead right about now. Now normally I would give you a punishment for what you just did, but I've already had my fill." Ayato said with a smirk and releases me. Ayato stands up with his back turned and starts to walk away, but quickly stops and looks back at us.

"Don't get your hopes up though. The next time I see you, I'll sink my teeth into that soft pale skin of yours and taste your blood. Who knows? Maybe it'll be as sweet as your cousin's blood." Ayato chuckles and leaves after that.

*sniff* *sniff*

"Y-Yuvell? Are you okay?" Yui asks and slowly walks up to me. She's still wet, but not dripping like before.

"Yuve-"

"NO YUI, I'M NOT OKAY!!" I now look up at Yui with tears pouring down my face.

"Just what am I suppose to do?! I promised myself that I would protect you and that I would always be there for you, but look at you now! Your all wet and bleeding and....and I just.....I-I.....I'm sorry Yui." I didn't even give her a chance to reply because I dashed through the doors having mixed feelings. I felt both anger and sadness. I couldn't exactly explain it, but one emotion that over took both sadness and anger, was guilt...........I felt guilty......for making Yui go through that when I could have prevented it.

( Outside the mansion in the forest )

So, it seems my nephews have not only one but two sacrificial brides and from what I heard, one of them is from the circus. Perhaps the second bride is that girl that just passed by not too long ago. I must say, she did look rather tasty. Even the smell of her blood from those freshly made cuts were  quite tempting.

I was originally going to steal their first bride because of Cordelia, but now that second one is starting to perk my interest. Maybe I should observe the two longer and decide which one I should take. Heh, maybe I'll take both....let's just see how things turn out.
