Sneaking In

Yuvell's Pov

"Argh, finally! It's about time!" I cried out as the view of mansion came up.

I ran past the trees and made it into the garden. By my guess, everyone would be asleep or almost asleep.

Ok.... which way is my room.....

I take a quick look around before spotting my balcony. I quietly jog up to it and take my hood off and look up. I smile brightly when I notice that the balcony door is still open.

"Alright cool, now the question is how am I going to get up there?"

I place my finger on my chin and take a few steps back.

My eyes soon travel to the large bush with vines crawling up the side of the wall. The vines are everywhere and while it doesn't exactly reach my balcony, it still goes a long way. I jog up to it and tug on the vines. Seeing the vines remain in place brings relief to the back of my mind.

"Hmm looks stable enough. Well doesn't hurt to give it a try."

I grip the vine tightly and slowly bring my foot up. After placing my foot on a secure stop, I haul myself up but when I do the vines shift over a little. I panic and practically hug the wall to balance myself out. Once the vines are still again, I release a sigh.

"Ok enough dilly dally. I got to hurry up before someone notices."

I resume back into climbing the vines and focus on getting back to the balcony. Just when I am about to grab the next vine, I hear a loud snap go off from under me and before I knew it I was falling.

I didn't even have time to embrace for impact as my body collides with the hard cold ground.

"Argh!"

I wince in pain as I roll over and rub both my back and tail bone. When I move to push myself off the ground, I feel a sharp pain in my wrist. I gasp and quickly move it in front of me to inspect it.

As far as the eye can see, there was nothing wrong with it except for the light shade of red.

I shake it off a little and look back up and see the vines completely ruined. Half of the once sturdy vines was now dangling down while the other half sticks to the wall like glue.

"Dang.... just when I was about half way."

I push myself with my non-injured hand and take a few steps back looking up.

"Ugh even if the vines didn't snap under me, I still wouldn't be able to reach the balcony. *Sigh* Why can't getting up be as easy as jumping down?"

I stare at my room with a frown wondering to myself on how I'm going to get there.

In the middle of my thoughts, I notice movement in my room. I take another step back and realize that it was the clone. She was sitting next to Alex and was staring down him with her calm, blank eyes. The sight brings my hopes back up and replaces my frown with a smile.

"Yes! Just in time!" I whisper to myself.

I wave my hands over my head to try and get her attention and to my luck she sees me.

"Hey! Come over here and help me!" I whispered shouted.

She looks over at me with her blank face and only blinks.

"Alright maybe she didn't hear me." I mumbled to myself and decided to say it a little louder.

"Come over here and help me up! There's some rope that I left near the window! Tie that to the end of the rail and throw the rope down!"
