Albert: (looking very sore) okay, well I fixed the wall --with no help for 5 hours...-- and I got a headache from trying to understand the fourth wall break Dave created-
Dave: You're welcome.
Albert: BUT NOW IT'S FIXED, and hopefully won't be broken again (glares at Dave while saying that). Anyway, with that problem gone, we can finally move on to our final subject. As long as I can find it....
Dave: Here we go again..
(after about ten minutes of searching, Albert manages to find the last tip in all of the tiny writing -which she is convinced an ant wrote)
Albert: OKAY! And the final tip is...
Book: MAKE SURE TO USE PROPER GRAMMAR!!!!!!!!
Albert: Wow. The book is really enraged about this one.
Albert: Anyways, what the book is trying to say is that you should always use good grammar. I've read so many fanfictions that would have been fantastic. They had good plot, matched the characters perfectly as to how they'd react to things, and even had amazing plot twists at the end. But the one problem, was the grammar. I understand that a lot could be from kids, who are just starting out with writing, but even then, it should have at least decent grammar. Now, I have a couple ways of making sure you are using the correct grammar:
1. Proof Read
Albert: This is really easy to do. Once you've finished writing, go back and read through it again, correcting any mistakes you see. It's fine if you miss a few, but as long as most mistakes are gone, no one will really notice the few that were missed.
2. Have someone edit for you
Albert: This is again, something really easy. You could ask your parent, friend, or even someone online if they could proof read for you. This is another way to get extra mistakes out that you didn't notice. You could have someone read through your writing, and point out the mishaps or errors.
3. Google translate
This is the final way you can fix something. If you go to google translate and copy/paste your chapter into google, it will read it through in whatever language you speak, and you can listen for any mistakes in the writing. This is probably the easiest, as it's easier to catch mistakes while listening to someone read it.
Albert: And that is all for this How To book! I hope this was helpful to you. If you any suggestion as to what you would like me to-
Dave: US. You mean us, right?
Albert: Surrrrrreeeeeee. If you have any requests you would like US to do, comment them down below, or message us at our email! Hope you enjoyed!!
