Damon's Pov

Sam just left to the Mikealson's to break up with Kol and now I got to break up with Elena. I called her about a half hour ago and she should be here any minute. "Damon?" I heard Elena call from the entrance, I flashed there and met her. " I need to talk to you" I said, pulling her hand and walking into the living room and standing in front of the fireplace. Which probably isn't the best place. "I need to break up with you" I blurted out, and her face was shocked and she started shaking her head. "What. Why? No. You can't do this" She said, trying to wrap her hands around my face but I was serious, and took them off my face. "I'm in love with Sam, and she loves me to. I know you love me but I love her more" I said and she looked heartbroken. She grabbed her purse from the couch and left.

"Why is Elena, texting me, saying you dumped her" Stefan said, walking in, acting confused. "Because I did" I said and his mouth dropped and then he came over and slapped me hard on the face. "What the hell was that for" I said, and he gave me the 'Your such a dick' face. "You literally spent two years pining after her and stole her from me and now you break up with her. Huh. Whats the reason" He asked, and I slowly took a sip of my bourbon. "Me and Sam are together now" I said, and he spit up the bourbon, he was trying to drink. "Seriously, why are you such a dick" Stefan said, and left the house.

Sam's Pov

As I was pulling into the Salvatore Boarding House, Stefan was exiting the door. "Hey Stefan" I said, and he just walked right past me, and got into his car and left. "What the hell is his problem" I said, walking in the door and sitting next to Damon on the couch. "He is mad I broke up with Elena" I said, and I made an 'Oh' face. "But it's okay. How are things with baby original (Kol)?" Damon asked and I shrugged and he looked at me confused. "I sort of broke up with him and then basically told them I was suing for custody" I said, and Damon's mouth dropped and I knew saying that to the Mikealson's was a mistake. "I got to apologize" I said and Damon nodded and I gave him a kiss. "Im coming with you" he said, and I broke the kiss and looked at him like he was crazy. Probably because he was. "What. Hell no. They will tear you apart." I said, and Damon now looked at me like im crazy, even though I wasn't. "That's the thing with having a powerful girlfriend. They can beat up the meanies" Damon said, and smirked, which made me laugh and I eventually gave in and I texted Haley that I was on my way to apologize but not telling her Damon was coming. And with that, we were on our way.
