Second First Date

Sam's POV

Since Damon won't be back, I guess I better give Kol a chance to prove himself, even though it really should be the other way around. "Are you ready" Kol said, knocking on the door of the room I was staying in. I was setting down my phone as he walked in but I was very confused. "Ready? For what?" I asked and he smiled, the Mikealson smile. Whenever they do that smile, I can't help but fall in love with it. "Our date" He said, still smirking, because he knows I love it and could never say no. "Oh really? And what am I suppose to wear on this date" I said, trying not to flirt but also maybe flirting at the same time. "A nice red dress. You know. My favorite." He said, coming up behind me and whispering into my ear. I felt my entire body tingle, as he touched my back. "I think I can manage that...but first...you need to leave so I can get changed" I said, teasing him and laughing. He seemed disappointed but quickly laughed and brushed it off, and walked out of the room.

Kol's Pov

As I walked out of the room, I couldn't help but think about Sam. I'm so glad Damon needed to leave. This is just what I wanted. I'm also glad that she might feel the same way about me stills because honestly I don't think I will ever get over her.

"Im ready" Sam said, opening the door, that I had been pounding on for the last ten minutes. As she walked out, my entire mouth fell to the floor. "Sam...you look so beautiful" I said, and her already rosy cheeks became even more red. "Thanks, you don't look bad yourself" She said, which made us both laugh. "So where are we even going?" Sam asked, as I opened the car door for her. "I really nice restaurant" I said, and she got into the car, smiling ear to ear.

When we got to the restaurant, we were seated at a table on the balcony, that overlooks the beautiful city. "Wow... This is gorgeous" She said, and as she was staring at the city, I was staring at her. "What" she said, a little embarrassed, when she caught me looking at her. "Nothing, just enjoying my view of you" I said, and yet again, she was blushing.

After we were done with dinner, I drove us around the city, because it has been a long time since Sam was here. "I love this city so much" she said and her smile was huge, which made me smile. "I love you so much. And I know you are still with Damon but I can promise this Sam. I will never hurt you. You are possibly one of the greatest things that have ever come into the crazy family. Without you, I don't know what we would do without you. You have raised our daughter so well and I still be with you" I said, even though I'm not that great at expressing my feelings, but I think I did pretty damn good this time. "Kol I love you too but how would we explain this to Emma. To everyone" Sam asked and I mean she was right. "We could just keep it on the down low for a little and then if its really serious we could start telling people. Its just you would need to break up with Damon" I said and she nodded her head in agreement and we both smiled at each other.
