A harsh knock was heard at the front door. "Is anybody home?" Heather Duke called, rolling her eyes. She was annoyed.

Maybe this her way of being the new Chandler.
The new mythic bitch.
The new almighty.
The new queen bee.
The new demon queen.

I'm sure you get the point.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Veronica yelled back running down the stairs. She yanked open the door, practically out of breath.

"Woah, what's the matter with you?" She raised an eyebrow, leaning against the doorway.

"Have you seen Heather anywhere?" She asked placing a hand on her chest.

"No, why would I? And I thought she was with you." Duke stood back up straight with her arms crossed.

Heather McNamara stood at the grave of Heather Chandler. Her eyes glistened reading the gravestone over and over again. "I am so sorry, Heather. Maybe you're right, maybe I should give up now and come join you along with Kurt and Ram. I miss you. Please, please come back." She sat down tracing her fingers over the embossed letters. (I imagine her like Christine when she's at her father's grave. Just me? Oh, okay.)

"It is getting quite lonely here and these two dickheads aren't much help." Chandler had an annoyed tone showing through.

Mac propped her head up hearing Heather's voice again. "Heather?"

"Mac, I've missed you too-" Her voice was cut off by a raspy sounding voice.

"Hello?" Jason Dean approached the girl. You'd think he'd be confused but he knew this would happen. I mean he killed the most popular girl in the school, outcomes like this were bound to happen.

"Yes?" The small girl in yellow looked up. She recognized the man, he looked quite familiar.

"You're the head cheerleader." He spoke, now only a few feet away.

"I suppose I am." She nodded standing up. She brushed off the dirt and leaves on her skirt.

"You're mourning over the loss of a Heather Chandler, why are you wasting your time doing that?"

"I miss her." She glanced up at him then back down at her feet.

"You miss her? I don't want to sound rude but you miss a goddamn bitch?" He laughed bitterly.

"She wasn't a bitch, she was the only one who could hold Westerburg together and she couldn't even take it anymore."

"You're so clueless." He muttered.

"Am not." She said sternly, furrowing her brows.

"Are you certain about not being clueless?" He blew a puff of smoke, placing his hand down which held a cigarette between two fingers.

"Yes... Well, no. I'm not certain." Heather looked down at her feet kicking a few rocks around. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" It came back to her, she slightly knew who he was. She remembered Veronica talking to him.

"I was taking a walk and stumbled across you." JD dropped the cigarette on the ground and put it out with his foot.

"I-I should get going." She began walking off until her brain went blank. She forgot the way home. Goddamnit.

"You forgot where you're going, didnt you?" He looked over his shoulder.

"Yeah. Would you happen to know where my friend, Veronica, lives?" She turned around.

"I actually do. Follow me." He smiled slightly and started walking.

After about ten minutes the two approached Veronica's doorstep. Heather knocked softly brushing a few hairs out of her face.

"Where have you been?" Veronica pulled the door open quickly, not noticing JD. (When Veronica actually opens the door and no one has to count to three.)

"I-I..." Mac was afraid of telling her. She was afraid of being laughed at. She was afraid of the whole school finding out. She was afraid of all the possible outcomes.

"She was visiting Heather's grave and couldn't find her way home. I happened to be taking a walk and found her, so I helped her get back here." Jason chimed in.

"Jason Dean.." Veronica but her lip. "It's great to see you."

"It's great to see you as well." He paused. "I should be getting home." He turned around and made his way down the doorsteps.

Veronica grabbed Mac by the arm and took her inside. "Okay, tell me what's going on."

"Nothing's happening and plus you should be telling me what's going on with you. I thought you liked him. I remember watching you two in the caf."  Heather replied in the same voice she had been using.

"We're fine, now quit trying to change the subject. You always try to change the subject. Look I'm worried, Heather. First you space out, then I here you scream, then you yell at me in the car saying you're fine when you're clearly not fine." She said harshly, spitting out words one after another.

"I'm fine, maybe I should head home." Mac said timidly.

Hello!
I'm so sorry that I've been lacking about posting chapters and actual quality content. Life's been quite busy (no it hasn't, I've had writers block.) Now, I have a few ideas of where I can take this book, so that's good.

Sincerely,
Your home girl.
