I sat in the center of town by the fountain, waiting for Ben. Sadly his father fell ill. I shouldn't be taking up his time. He should be with him.

"(Y/n)?" I looked up and saw Ben's glistening brown eyes looking into my (E/c) eyes. I couldn't help but smile. No matter how sad I was. Ben could make me smile with a simple look. "Are you okay?" I nodded and stud up.

"Just thinking. You should be with your father, not out here with me. He needs you." I smiled. He frowned. "How is he?" I asked.

"He's upset he can't go to the convention. He blames the weather." He chuckled. I looked up to the clear sky. I giggled and he smiled at me. "I need to get some things from the market, would you like to come?" He's doing it out of pity. He doesn't really care. I shook off the negative thourghts and smiled at him.

"Sure." I smiled. He chuckled and took my hand. I smiled as he pulled me along with him to get food and supplies he would need.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled and waved until he was out of view. I walked home and saw my mother. She glared at me and I just walked up to my room.

"When are you going to get a husband." She asked. I looked away from her. "That's it Im stepping in. I will find you a man and you will Marry him." I shout up but she already left the room. I teared up and fell onto my bed, letting out my tears.

Through out the week I had to stay by me Fiancé's side. His name was Lewis. I sigh sadly. I saw Ben around and he waved to me. The first day I smiled and waved at Ben... Lewis wasn't happy. I became a house wife. Cooking, cleaning. I was rarely allowed to leave the house. Lewis would go hunting with Guestona and I was left alone. I looked outside and saw Ben. He was alone and I opened the door and I smiled about to go over. But froze when I saw a girl go over and he smiled, getting up. He looked over to me and looked shocked. I felt warm tears drip down my face. I quickly went back into my house. I didn't want anyone seeing me cry. I fell to the ground and pulled my knees to my chest. He never cared about you. Such a stupid girl. Why would he love you? I let out a sob when a knocking was heard. I quickly move out the way of the door and up to my room.

"(Y/n)?" I staid where I was as I heard footsteps walk into the house. I heard them come up the stairs. I went to my window and opened it. I looked out and saw Lewis walking over. "(Y/n)?" I turn around and quickly push him out.

"You need to leave. If he sees you here, it will end badly." I say. Ben grabbed my arms and held me there. He looked down at me sadly.

"(Y/n)." He smiled and cupped my face and kissed me softly. I tensed but melted. I ran my fingers through his hair and smiled. I gladly kissed back and he pulled back.

"What's all this!?" Lewis yelled. I jumped and hid behind Ben. Ben glared at Lewis and took my hand, taking the ring and throwing it at the other man.

"(Y/n) is mine." He growled. Ben sweeped me up in a bridal style and carried me to his home where he cared and loved me with all his heart.
