Jennifer's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Taylor and I got married, and we decided to take a break after the wedding before we went on our honeymoon. During those 2 weeks, we planned out where we wanted to go for our honeymoon, but we had so many choices to choose from. But, we narrowed it down to our top 3 choices. Cape Town, South Africa, The Bahamas, and Jamaica. Between the 3 choices, Taylor and I both decided on the one where we wanted to go. "Jamaica." We both said in unison. We were really happy with the decision we made, and, what made us really happy was that, my grandparents (my Mom's parents) offered to pay for our whole trip. Tickets, hotel, etc. We had no idea that my grandparents paid for the trip until my Mom called me and told me. Taylor and I decided to drive to my parents' house and personally thank my grandparents for paying for our trip. When we arrived, we got out of the car and went inside the house. "The Caniffs are here!" Dad smiled as we greeted everyone at the house. "So, the reason why Taylor and I came here today is that we wanted to thank you, Grandma and Grandpa, for paying for our honeymoon trip." I smiled. "Yes, thank you guys so much." Taylor smiled as we gave my grandparents a hug. "You two are very special to us, so we wouldn't take the chance of doing something special for you guys." Grandma smiled. "Well, since you guys are here, why don't you guys have lunch with us?" Mom asked. "That sounds fun, but, we were actually thinking of inviting you guys to have lunch at our new place, since you guys haven't been there yet." I smiled. "Well, that seems like a good idea too." Grandpa smiled. "Ok, we'll get going to the grocery store and buy the food, and we'll see you guys later." Taylor smiled. "What about we just go to the grocery store with you guys?" Dad suggested. "That's fine with me and Taylor." I replied.

We all went out to our cars and drove to the grocery store. Taylor and I got out and went in to buy the groceries we needed for lunch. Taylor bought a few steaks and some sides, while I grabbed some ingredients to make some of my famous cupcakes that the family loves. It took us about 30 minutes - 1 hour to buy everything that we needed, including cups, plates, napkins, utensils, etc. When we finished, my Dad got out of the car and offered to help us put the groceries in our cars. After that was done, we got in the car and drove to our apartment while my family followed behind us. After 20 minutes, we finally arrived at Taylor and I's apartment complex building. We all got out and met up together before we went in. "Wow sweetheart, you guys have a nice place." Dad said. "Thanks Dad. But I think you'll like it better when you see our actual place." I smiled as we all went inside together. When we arrived at our room, Taylor grabbed the keys from his pocket and opened the door. When the door opened, all my family were in shock when they saw the inside of our apartment. "Wow, you guys have a nice place." Mom said. "Thanks Mom, I'm glad you guys like the place." I smiled as Taylor and I got ready to cook in the kitchen. (A.N. - A picture of what Taylor and I's apartment room looks like is posted above). Taylor and I got started preparing the food for lunch while I let my family look around our apartment. After they were finished, they sat in the living room and watched some TV while we were getting lunch ready. After 1 hour went by, lunch was ready and ready to be served. My family sat at the dining table while Taylor and I were serving their food. "Wow honey, this looks delicious." Dad said. "Well, I learned my steak cooking from you, so yeah." I giggled. We let my family sit at the dining table while Taylor and I sat in the kitchen and ate. After we all finished eating, we decided to hang out in the living room and watch a movie.

After the movie was over, we all decided to head back to my parents' house and have dinner there. When we got to my parents' house, I decided to sit outside for a while and get some fresh air while everyone else went inside. 10 minutes later, Taylor decided to join me outside. "What are you thinking about, babe?" He asked. "Ohh, nothing. I'm just out here to get some fresh air. I missed being here at the house." I smiled. Taylor grabbed my hand and intertwined his with mine. "So, are you ready for our honeymoon in a few days?" Taylor asked. "Of course I am!" I smiled as I laid my head against his shoulder. We sat outside for 30 minutes before we went back inside to join my family. For dinner, my Mom and Dad decided to make my favorite meal ever, Tortellini with Pumpkin Alfredo Sauce. "Sweetie, we made your favorite!" Dad said. "Yes, I love Tortellini with Pumpkin Alfredo Sauce." I smiled as I sat right down at my chair. My Dad gave me my plate and I started chowing down on the pasta. My parents were so happy to see me happy and Taylor was also happy to see me happy. I finished my firs plate within 10 minutes and wanted another one. My Dad gave me another plate and also gave me a cup of lemonade. I first took a sip of the lemonade, then went to town on my second plate. After 4 plates of pasta, I was too full to eat anything else. I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch my favorite show. 20 minutes into watching TV, I fell asleep. My Mom walked over to the couch and saw me passed out on the couch. "Michael, can you go get a blanket from our bedroom upstairs?" Mom whispered. "Why?" Dad asked. She signaled for Dad to walk over, and he saw me fast asleep on the couch, so he went upstairs to go grab a blanket. A few seconds later, he came back downstairs and put the blanket over me so I wouldn't feel cold. "Hey Taylor, come look at your wife on the couch." Dad whispered as Taylor quietly walked over. He saw me sleeping peacefully on the couch, so he walked over to me and lightly kissed my forehead, then went back to chat with my family.
