------6 hours, 5 minutes later------

We finally arrived in the beautiful country of Jamaica, and we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. It's both our first time here in Jamaica, and we were both excited to explore the surroundings. We're going to be in Jamaica for about 3 weeks, so we did whatever we could. Taylor and I didn't really know what language they speak here in Jamaica, but it seems like they all speak English here, so we'll be ok. When we finished getting our bags, we found a taxi to take us to our hotel that we were going to stay at. From the airport, it was about a 19 minute drive, so we got in the taxi and were on the way there. There was a little bit of traffic along the way, but we arrived safely at the hotel after about 20 minutes of driving. We got our bags out of the taxi and I paid the driver, then he left. When we arrived in the front lobby, we were greeted nicely by the hotel workers. "Hello ma'am, sir, welcome to Secrets St. James Montego Bay. How may we assist you today?" One of the workers offered. Luckily this worker spoke English so Taylor could understand her. We showed her our hotel room number, and she kindly assisted us to our room. We arrived to our room, and Taylor told me to give her a tip for assisting us to our room. When I gave her the tip, she was very happy. "Ma'am, Sir, thank you so much. My name is Cassandra, and I hope you enjoy your stay here. If you need anything, just called the front desk and ask for my name." She smiled as she went back to work. I grabbed the room key from my purse and opened the room. When the door opened, Taylor was so in shock. "Wow babe, your grandparents got us a really good room." Taylor said as he set his stuff down and went around the room to check out everything. I brought the rest of the stuff in and got ourselves settled before we did anything.

------Week 1 of our Honeymoon in Jamaica------

Week 1 has officially started, but Taylor and I didn't know what to do, so he looked up on his phone of things that we could do. "Babe, why don't we go to this beach that's near by?" Taylor said as he showed me what he found. "That seems like a great idea. How far is it from here?" I asked. "It's about 5-10 minutes away." He replied. "Ok, do you want to head out now?" I asked. "Ok! Let's get ready now so we can find a spot." Taylor smiled as we got ourselves ready. After we got ourselves ready, I grabbed my purse and phone and we headed out the door. We decided just to walk to the beach since it wasn't too far. By the time we arrived at the beach, there weren't that much people yet, so we found a spot and put some beach chairs at our spot. Once we put our chairs in place, I sat down and put 2 layers of sunblock on, along with 2 layers of tanning lotion. "Babe, can you put the other layers of sunblock and tanning lotion on my back please?" I asked. "Of course babe." He smiled as I turn onto my back and he continued to apply the sunblock and tanning lotion. For the rest of that week, we continued to go to the beach and back and forth between the indoor pool and our hotel.

------Week 2 of our Honeymoon in Jamaica------

For Week 2, we decided that each day, we would go out to a restaurant for lunch or dinner so we could try out different authentic foods from Jamaica. For Day 1, we decided to have lunch at Pier One. The place looked really clean and modern, and we really enjoyed the scenery. We ordered food that we haven't tried before so it would be something unique. Our food came after 15 minutes and we started to chow down on it. After 20 minutes, we were both done with our food, and it was so delicious. "Babe, that was some of the best food I've ever had." Taylor said. "I'd have to agree. That was some of the best Jamaican food I've ever had in my life." I replied. We paid for our bill and left the restaurant so we could walk around outside. As we were walking around outside, we saw some street performers playing instruments, so we decided to stay and watch them. After they finished their mini performance, we wanted to give a little something, so Taylor got some money from his wallet and put it in the hat they had laid out. The performers nodded their heads as their way to say thank you, and we did the same. We walked a little further down and saw a mini store that had some cute souvenirs. We decided to walk in and look around for things. I found some magnets that my Mom would like, since she likes to collect magnets from different states and countries, so I bought her some unique looking ones that I thought she would like. Taylor found some shirts for his parents that he would send to them. I also found some little toy action figure-type toys that my brother Cameron would enjoy, since he likes to collect action figures from time to time. For my Dad, I found some nice shirts and tank tops for him to wear. After we bought all that stuff, we decided to go back to the hotel because we were tired. For the rest of Week 2, we went to different restaurants, alternating with lunch and dinner, and sometimes breakfast.

------Week 3 of our Honeymoon in Jamaica------

It is Week 3 of our honeymoon in Jamaica, and it's our final week here, so we decided to make the most of it and go to the beach and pool everyday before we leave. For the first 3 days of our final week, we went to the beach and the pool at our hotel everyday for 4 hours each. For the next 2 days, we ate out at restaurants we haven't tried yet, one day for breakfast and the next day for lunch and dinner. For the second to last day of our honeymoon, Taylor decided to plan something nice for the both of us, so he took me to a nice bar that had drinks and a dance floor. I wasn't old enough to drink yet, so I just sat at our table and had water or soda. After a few minutes, the DJ at the bar announced that all couples report to the dance floor for a special song to dance to. Taylor took my hand and brought me to the dance floor. The bar that we went to had a lot of tourists, so there was a lot of English songs being played. The song that the couples danced to was Bless The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts.

This song is one of Taylor and I's favorite songs to listen to. After the song stopped playing, we went back to our table and ate some food. We decided to go back to our hotel after 3 hours of being there because we still had to pack our bags because we leave tomorrow. The next day comes, and it is our last day here in Jamaica. We had all our bags packed and we brought them downstairs to the main lobby. When we got to the main lobby, we were assisted and had a taxi called for us. After 20 minutes, we arrived at the airport. The taxi driver came out and helped Taylor take the luggages out of the trunk. We paid the taxi driver and went inside the airport to get our bags checked in. Once we had them checked in, we went through security so we could get to our gate on time. When we arrived at our gate, Taylor was getting hungry, so he left his stuff with me and went to go get something to eat. Just in time, as Taylor got back, they were announcing that it was time for our plane to board, so we grabbed our bags and walked towards the gate, got on our plane, and headed back home to Los Angeles, California.
