Chapter 20

Shawns been here for about a few weeks now. Everything fell into place once he got back. We started looking for a place, we decided that moving in would probably be best. We found a nice place out in New York. It was a small two bedroom apartment, I was almost finishing college at this point. I went for English. Turns out it's easier then most.

Shawn was packing the rest of my stuff in boxes. "I think I got everything" he says unsure. "I'm sure if we forgot anything, they'll let us know." I say. We pack the last box in the back and headed to our apartment. Once we got there and got everything unloaded. We started to unpack. We put bedrooms together We decided to make the second bedroom into Shawns music room. We were working on the living room when Shawn gets a call. 

"Hey I gotta be gone for like two days to record some more records for the new cd." He says. "Okay that's fine, just as long as you come home to me" I say he comes over a kisses me. "I'm so glad I want my life to be with you" he says to me. "I'm glad you were so annoying when we first met. God you were such an ass." I say chuckling. He chuckles "well I mean I learned from my mistakes but looks like you haven't" he says lifting a eyebrow.

I looked at him confused and he pulls out a photo album label "Bailey 0-10 years" "Shawn don't you dare!!!" I yell. He runs and shuts and locks the bedroom door. "Aww babe you're so cute with cake of your face!" He says "Shawn stooop" I starts to feel heat on my cheeks. "Awe looks like you weren't big fans of monkeys" he says laughing. "Shawn Mendes open this door now so I can kill you" I say. He opens the door with a baby picture of me "but you were soooo cute" he says "Shawn!!!" I say as I run to him tackling him to the bed and trying to grab the photo. "Shawn I swear to god" I say reaching for it. "Even when you were younger, you were always the feisty one." He says chuckling. I gave up after a while and Shawn and I just sat and looked through it.

After we looked through the album we decided to finish the living room. Once we did we decided to call it a night. We get into bed, put Netflix on and cuddled. I soon fell asleep. I woke up to Shawn making noise like he's trying to not wake me up but put stuff away. I walk into the kitchen and everything is pretty much done. "I see you got an early start" I say.

Shawn jumps. "Uh I uh yeah" he says. He chuckles you know you shouldn't sneak up on me like that. He comes over a kisses me. "I leave tonight and I should be back Sunday." He explained. "Okay just hurry back though, I miss you when you leave." I say as I hug him.

After we got the kitchen put together we decided to go eat and look for stuff for the house. We went to ikea and Ashley's. We bought some furniture and some stuff for the walls. We get home and put everything together. "All we need is a tv in the living room" he says. "Well lets go get one" I say grabbing the keys. "Or we can just relax and tie a break. Bailey we've been out all day." He says grabbing the keys from me. "Lets just take a day and actually look at how well we just made our first apartment together" he says. He takes out his phone and pulls me close. "Lets take a picture." I smile and his snaps the picture. He puts it on instagram and captions it "I love you" I smile and hug him. "What time do you leave tonight?" I say not wanting to hear the answer. "9" he says. 

"It's only 5:30. Well we have a few hours, do you want to do anything?" I asked. "Yeah, wanna go see Times Square?" He says with excitement in his eyes. "Yes." I say with excitement. We spent the rest of the time touring New York, girls running up talking to Shawn and taking pictures and getting his signature. I was genuinely happy that he can make so many people happy. But most importantly I'm happy that he's with me.

Around 7:30 Shawn has his bags packs and ready to head out. "I'll text you as soon as I land I promise, and it's only for three days." He comes over and gives me a kiss, I followed him out as he puts his stuff in a cab. He shuts the trunk. "I'll be back sooner then you think" he says as he hugs me. "I love you Shawn" I say.

He looks at me and kisses me "I love you Bailey" he smiles. He gets in the cab. I stand there until I couldn't see him in the back window. I get in the elevator and push the floor to where we live. I start to feel sick. I grab the trash can and I start to puke. I get to my apartment and I start puking even more. I decided to go to the hospital.

I get checked in and I start to feel better after they give me something to calm my stomach the doctor comes in, "well Bailey everything looks great, and I have some big news. You're pregnant!" My heart stops. At first I feel a little panic but then I start to feel excitement. I go home and I call Shawn. "Hey" he says "hey I have some news to tell you, you should sit down" I say, "okay I'm already sitting down." He says. I get nervous but I tell him "Shawn I'm pregnant!"
