Chapter 16

I woke up and Shawn was still there. His faces looked better but still looked bad since I didn't get to properly clean it. I jumped in the shower, get dressed and leave Shawn a note telling him I went to the store just in case he woke up.

When I went back home Shawn was in the shower. "Hey I'm back" I yelled. I start taking the stuff out. I hear the bathroom door open and Shawn comes around the corner with a towel, "um I don't have any clean clothe, do you have any?" He asked "yeah I have some of Dylan's that he left here, up in the closet to your right" I tell him. He walks up and kisses me, "I missed you" he smiles.

After I got Shawns cut cleaned we went out to go get breakfast. We arrived at a small coffee shop outside of town, "so Shawn are you back for good or?" I asked, "um no I actually wanted to tell you, I'll be here for about a month or two to grab some stuff and the I'll be heading out on tour. I just released my new song "stitches" and I'm starting to get really big. And I wanted to talk to you before I start to get well known, and I want to start over with you." He says.

I look at him, "prove it and I mean it Shawn prove it too me that you want this. I'll give you up until you go on tour. If you can prove to me that you want this just as much as you say you, and that all the songs you wrote about how you feel about me, prove it. By the time you have to go on tour we can make us an official" I answered.

"Okay I'll start now then, come on!" He takes my hand and leads me to the car. "Shawn where are we going!?" I asked him. "Don't worry you'll love it, you don't have any school or anything do you?" He asked "no I'm done until next month." I told him. He smiles "good because we are going to spend a lot of time together, he puts the car in drive and grabs my hand and takes off.

I must have fallen asleep when Shawn wakes me up. "Hey we are here" he say, I look up and see tall buildings and bright lights. New York. I can't speak. "Shawn why did you bring me here" I asked "you'll see" he says with a smirk. He drives up to a hotel and once he gets out I hear "IS THAT SHAWN MENDES OMG OMG OMG" and I see like five or six girl running towards him. "SHAWN WE LOVE YOUR SONGS OMG" he's taking pictures and signing stuff for them and chatted with him. "My fans mean a lot to me, the support everything I do and the only way I can return anything is doing stuff like that, or singing for them. Most people thinks is a big deal but honestly I don't mind" he says as we walk always from the girls.

We walk up to the front desk. "Hi I'm here to check in" he says and hands him some type of paper "ah right this way Mr. Mendes, you're producers have been waiting for you" as he leads us to a back room. "Will you wait here? I have to sign some things. I have to sign some form of papers it'll be five minutes tops" and then he disappears behind closed doors.

I take out my phone and posted a picture of Shawn I thought was cute. He has like half of a chocolate chip muffin in his mouth I captioned it "the muffin man or muffin monster" I close out of instagram and the door opens. "Okay come with me" and Shawn grabs me by the hand. We get on an elevator all the way to the top.

Shawn leads me to a door, and opens it. When I get through the door my mouth drops. I look over and I see lights everywhere and I can see the whole city. I realized that we were on the roof. Shawn comes over and wraps his arms around me. "Bailey I want you to be mine." He whispers I turn around and I kiss him.
