Where the Soul Lies
Percy stared at Thalia's Tree, that now held the soul of Sincere. If only her soul was real. He thought. "Percy, it's a beautiful tree isn't it?" The voice startled him, but he knew who it was, "Thalia. Since she was placed here. Everything has been beautiful. Even the smallest thing."
She smiled, "Come on. It's time for dinner." Percy glanced at the tree on last time for tonight and walked to the dinning pavilion. "Ha ha! Cheers to those who love Thalia's tree!" Percy wasn't in the mood to drink blue soda. He just sat alone and played with his food.
"Percy," He heard is name, "Thalia-" he stopped. It wasn't close to Thalia's. It was Calypso who called him, "Percy get over here!" Leo was behind her; beckoning Percy to come. Somehow his mind told him to go, like someone or something was controlling him. But his head won. Percy stood up and walked. No one paying him attention. The Hunters even looked bored out of their minds.
"This way. Just follow us-" Another voice spoke, very clear and familiar. It spoke to him: Perseus Jackson. Don't fall for a trick. After a little greeting with Egyptian Magician's. This is a trick to lure you to them. They want you- your powers- to see what strength they own against us-demigods. Don't fall for it.
He shook his head, "Sincere!?" he spiraled in circles to only stop and see no one, not even Leo or Calypso, just Thalia's tree. "Hey, Sincere. If you can hear me. Please understand something. Without you or your spirit. Where would this Camp be."
Percy smiled, "Thank you for-" he flew backwards; like a force of gust tossed him as if he was a rag doll. He stood up, behind him, demigods stood surrounding him, stirring. Some still eating, some confused. He scanned for Annabeth, but he heard a gasp. "Percy look. Thalia's tree. I-I-It's gone..."
Percy turned, she was right. "I knew this would happen." He turned to see Rachel coming toward him, "I had gotten a vision that this tree would disappear. And it did." "Rachel. A prophecy?!" Percy was so confused and worried. "Yes. And it isn't a good one."
This was a short chapter. I know I wrote this book on paper then I rewrote it on Wattpad. It was hard to copy and rewrite. Thanks for reading. Vote Comment and in you WANT share! Thank you again! Don't forget. This is the 3rd book to the series. Life after the prophecy, so to understand this book. You have to read the 1st and 2nd!
