Chapter 7

Everyone eats Cake

The battle had begun. Cakes flew everywhere hitting every person. Laughing filled the whole place. Nico however was killing; knocking everything and one down. "Yeah! Take that Thalia. I saw your hand it had cake on them!" 

   Percy looked around the room, "Guys, wait-" Percy hasn't been hit with cake since Nico tossed the second one on him, but within seconds Thalia shouts: "Cake him!!" Soon all cakes come flying toward Percy. "Ah! The heck, really, Thalia?!" She grinned sorry, but I had too. You were clean before. And now look at you. Just like us, caked with yumminess." A page of laughter ran through the crowd and that lightens Percy's mood. "Fine you want to play-" 

   A small chuckled came from the entrance. "Sadie, Carter. You brought demigods in the Brooklyn House?"

   They gulped, "Uncle Amos, we can explain-" The man- Amos- growled and shot fire. "Amos no! There friends!" Sadie cried. Percy expected a spread of heat to blow in his face, but no. There was only a cool breeze. His eyes opened to Thalia and Nico hands outstretches and they had their battle faces ready. Well really just Thalia. Nico was always wearing one. But they looked kind of funny with the cake on their faces as well.

   "You throw flames." Nico said. "We defect them." Finished Thalia. Suddenly the temperature dropped twelve degrees. A wave of goose bumps spread across Percy's arm. He smiled. Percy knew Thalia and Nico were slowly dropping the temperature with the wind and with Nico's aura of death. Nico was making every thing darker and gloomier, by his awesome power. And now it's my turn. 

   Slowly, very slowly, the water raised from the pool where the crocodile laid. "You show power. But we all show strength." Together, they looked powerful. Like the new big three were standing right there. Amos hesitated, "What have you come here for?" Percy narrowed his eyes. "We have been invited here by Sadie and Carter. If you didn't know. Sadie's precious boyfriend and our camp tree is missing and we've came here to work together and find them both. If possible, find my girlfriend."

   "That is dead, Nico" Thalia mumbled. "Shut up, Thalia. If you don't I'll make sure you go to the Fields of Punishment when you die."

   Amos made a face, "Sadie, Carter. We'll talk later. For now. Go to sleep. Make sure your guest are pleased. Give them rooms they will like make them feel at home. Now if you excuse me. I'll enjoy the cake. Also, help clean this up. A cake war without me. Horrid."

   Sadie and Carter lead them up to the second floor. "Amos. Is he ok?" Sadie nodded, "Yeah, he's stressed. Just relax." They stopped "I hope you guys enjoy the rooms, Percy is the middle. Thalia is left and Nico is right. Now go. Get some rest. We leave tomorrow"

   As told they all went to their rooms and fell asleep quickly.
