Chapter 16

Lord of Burning Trees

"So, lets see," Carter chewed his sandwhich, "When Zia -of course- kissed me." He then grinned. Sadie however rolled her eyes. "The obvious." 

        Carter rolled his eyes. "Oh so you have better????" he mouth opened and a piece of sandwhich came out. "Ops." he flicked it away. Everyone else stared in disgust, "Gross." 

        "Let's see..... My favorite happy memory was when I saw dad." Carter laughed, "you saw him every year." Sadie shook her head. "No, as in Osiris. You are a dumbo." Percy laughed, "Hasn't that an elephants name?" Thalia then laughed, "Oh my gods, no. It's Jumbo." 

        They cracked up then gained control. "I have to many.... I can't say anything." Percy zipped his mouth, "What about Nico?" They looked at him -well actually glanced. 

        Nico stopped chewing and surrendered, "What?! No, I don't really have any." Grover shook his head, "You said really." With a sigh, Nico spoke, "When I found out Percy was a demigod. The game to live."

        Percy pursed his lips, as he recalled the memory. Back in the old days.... before now, before then, before..... everything. "So long ago. Looking back, I was a fool. A fool to think I could be like Percy. But now, look at this life I've gotten into. A huge mess. But I love it this way." They smiled, and so did he. 

        "So..... Thalia-" Percy set his hand of the bush beside him. "Anything in mind?" She grinned, "Fire." Percy nodded and thought aloud, "I wish I could set things on fire-" as he said it, the bushes burst into flames. "Oh my gods!! Percy what did you do?" They all stood up. 

        "Nothing, all I did was say fire-" it began to stretch. "Oh gods. How do we stop it. Um.... freeze fire!!!!" he pushed his hand out, towards the trees. Nothing happened. They stilled burned. "Do something! Your the son of Poseidon!!!" Percy's eyes closed. Water. Plenty of salt water.

        He heard a huge crush come from above. When he opened his eyes, everyone was soaking wet. "Oh my gods, this is just like when I first came to Camp Half-Blood." Nico shook his hands, "Except... You were in the girls bathroom. Supreme Lord of the Girls Bathroom." Nico looked up, the story of Percy in the girls bathroom was told for a camp fire story. It was told every night. 

        "Also....." Nico smiled, "Lord of Burning Trees." 

Like I said, short, this is very short. So how was the mentioning of The Lighting Thief. HAHA!! I decided to say it was a camp fire story. Just to cheer them up. Have a few laughed here and there.
