Dan got out of bed as soon as Phil left, throwing on a pair of black jeans and his favorite black tee shirt. He sighed, knowing it was going to be yet another unproductive day. Sure, he could make a video or edit or something, but was he going to do that? No.
Dan ventured out of his room once more through the entire day, just for dinner around seven. He heated up some cold pizza from a dinner meetup Phil had gone to with Evan a few days before and ate it stealthily, making sure Phil didn't catch him. Not that Phil would care. Phil was always willing to share anything, even if it meant he had to give something up.
Dan went back to his room and set himself into his internet surfing pose, couch crease position in his bed. It was almost three in the morning before he became even slightly tired, but by then he didn't want to sleep alone. He powered off his laptop and picked up his phone, using the light to guide himself to Phil's room. When he got there the door was closed, like usual. He turned the knob and pushed it open slowly, cringing when the hinges let out a loud squeaking noise. He snuck in quietly, shutting the door gently behind himself. He heard the sheets rustle and looked just as Phil brought his head up slightly.
"Dan?"
"I-it's me. I, uh, i," it then occurred to Dan he hadn't thought of a reason to be there.
"You don't need a reason Dan. Hop in." Phil sleepily used an arm to lift the sheets, and Dan climbed under swiftly in response. They were both fast asleep, but little did they know they were both dreaming of the other.
