After an entire five minutes of hugging and crying, Kamryn finally pulled away.
"S-so," Kamryn started, looking down to their feet, "what exactly is the plan? You come back for me and t-take me to England in a f-few months o-or...?" Dan glanced and Phil and squeezed his shoulder.
"Actually, as soon as VidCon is over we're flying back to England. All of us." Dan gave them a big smile. He was just as excited as they were. Something about them really made him happy.
Kamryn went silent for a second, causing some quizzing looks from Dan and Phil. "A-are you g-going to tell the f-fans?" Dan's face went pale. That wasn't something he'd even thought of. He realized then he had to tell the fans, because if he didn't it would make life so hard on Kamryn. Dan nodded slowly, looking to Phil for reassurance. Phil nodded to.
"We'll probably make a video later on. Soon." Kamryn smiled, relieved. "Until then, you're going to have to act like just another fan. Which, I know it sucks, but-"
"No it's fine!" Kamryn ran in and hugged them again, smiling.
"Okay, well we've gotta go but you're getting special seats for you, right up front. Just follow Tom over there," Dan said, pointing to the security guard in the corner.
Kam did as they were told, following the security guard to a seat in the very front row. They sat through a few other youtubers who they liked, until finally the panel Dan and Phil were part of came out. They all sat down, Dan and Phil taking the last two chairs. By then Kam was hysterically sobbing again, but no one was surprised.
"So hello, welcome to Vidcon 2020! My name is Rochelle and I'll be your host today!" A lady no one had ever seen before appeared, holding a bright pink bedazzled microphone. She looked very energetic, bouncing onto the stage in a bright green jacket with a yellow blouse underneath, outfit completed by her bright red skirt and black shoes.
"Hey guys!" She said, waving first to the panel and then to the crowd. she sat down in her chair, crossing her legs and pulling out her cards.
After introducing everyone on the panel she pulled up the first card. "So," she she said, giggling as she did, "lest dive right in. First question: Are you in a relationship right now?" She smiled as the first few people talked. When it reached Dan she repeated the question, and he blushed furiously.
"Well," he started, "actually I am." He smiled as the crowd shrieked so loud it could blow out an ear drum.
"With who?" Rochelle said, leaning onto the edge of her seat like the rest of the panel did.
"Well," he said again, quickly taking Phil's hand in his own and holding it as the entire crowd went ballistic. "You can probably guess."
