The hot water of the shower ran down my face.
I'm always anxious about these types of things. What if the girls aren't in any of my classes? What if I hate my teachers? Oh my god, what if my teachers hate me?
I heard the door open and I peeked through the curtains.
"God, James, privacy? Please?" My twin brother ran his toothbrush under the tap.
"God, Wit, get out? Please?"
I turned off the water and wrapped my body in my towel.
"I'm locking the door tomorrow. Swear."
"If only you could put that much energy behind talking to Joshua? I bet you won't. This whole year you won't. You'll just daydream about having his kids and not do anything about it."
"Shut up. You don't know what you're talking about."
"Maybe this year you'll be his cheerleader."
"James! Shut up before dad hears you." I walked to my room while he laughs.
I unlocked my phone and searched Josh's name on Instagram. I scrolled through his feed. Then, I cleared my search history, locked my phone.
What a great way to begin the day.
