6:15am
Before, when I lived with my dad, he'd used to always wake me up. We'd never say it, but every morning was a race to see who'd end up downstairs first. The last week we tallied, he'd won; 4 - 3. I never got my rematch.
My dad got a job on the west coast, and I decided that my friends, school and life are all here in Oceanview, so I decided to move in with my mom and her boyfriend, Steven. She's usually preoccupied with him, so we never really spend time with each other, which is okay. I tend to keep to myself anyways.
After taking a shower and getting dressed, I walked downstairs to see the TV on and muted and a house, empty and silent.
I skipped breakfast and made my way to my car. My last first day of highschool, I'd never thought it'd be like this.
Sucks to suck.
