Burnt Cookies
Fresh, and sweet, the cookie
A common but wonderful treat
Can make your soul start singing
Or feed your heart defeat
For a fresh, and well cooked cookie
Can bring a smile to your face
But if this cookie got burnt
You'd be faced with a tragic fate
I once ate a blackened cookie
I nearly drowned from tears
For the devilish form of evil
Can easily decrease your years
So I give you all good advice
After all I'm not just a rookie
If you have your own choice
Please do not eat a burnt cookie
