"You dumbass."
Jasmin opened his eyes to find himself on the floor of the break room, hot coffee seeping through his shirt.
What just happened?
Then he remembered Shuko's warning. Just watch out in about two minutes...
He hadn't been looking where he was going and had slammed into Oscar when he turned around. And, naturally, he had ended up spilling coffee on the both of them.
"You're such a klutz, you idiot."
Oscar stood up and glared down at Jasmin in distaste. "Honestly, pay attention." He turned away from the blonde and took the napkins Rhydian offered him, beginning to wipe at his shirt.
You really don't like me, do you, Oscar-chan~?
Jasmin laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his head as he sat up. "Sorry, Oscar-chan." Rhydian helped him to his feet and Jasmin gave the bookworm an apologetic smile. "I'll pay attention next time."
Oscar raised an eyebrow at him but didn't say anything.
"Oscar-chan~? Is something wrong~?" Jasmin asked, tilting his head to the side. Oscar was giving him a strange look.
The tsundere turned away from him. "No. You just actually listened to something I said for once, that's all."
It took Jasmin a moment to understand Oscar's meaning, but before he could say anything, Shuko and Luca walked into the break room. The hacker looked from Oscar to Jasmin and let out a sigh.
"Does anyone take what I have to say seriously? Jeez..." He went to a narrow door, which ended up being a closet, and took out two spare shirts. "This happens all the time because people don't listen to me-" He tossed them to the coffee drenched boys and crossed his arms, leaning against the closet door until it closed.
"Luca, be sure to take pictures, okay?" The hacker suddenly told the photographer with a wink. "Minnie-kun would appreciate it."
Luca gave the hacker a look of confusion, not understanding what he meant, but Shuko didn't say anything more, instead going to the table and putting in an order into the coffee machine.
As Jasmin and Oscar changed into the spare shirts, Reuben's eyes flitted around the break room. There was mostly technology, to his disappointment, but then his gaze fell onto an old cuckoo clock and he immediately shot over to it.
"Haha, Reubenicchi, you really like clocks, don't ya? I think we have some other stuff like that in the archives if I remember correctly..."
"Really?!"
Rhydian laughed at Reuben's excitement, pushing up his glasses.
"We also have typewriters, if you'd be interested in that, Merrick-san!" Shuko said, spinning on his heel to face the light blue haired boy.
Rhydian stood up straighter. "Y-you do?!"
Shuko grinned. "Mhm! I'll have to take you there a little later! If Aka-chin decides to stay, I mean..." He ran a hand through his yellow streaked black hair. "But that's up to him, not me, so..." His expression changed for a split second, but Jasmin wasn't able to catch what it was in time.
Shuko noticed that Oscar and Jasmin had changed and quickly took their other shirts. "O-kie! I'll put these with the other shirts to be washed..." He deadpanned, "The other 23, I mean. Because no one listens to me."
The hacker sped to a side room and threw the shirts inside before skipping to the door of the break room. "Al-right-y! Let's go back to Aka-chin so he won't be lonely! And you're all welcome to talk to the other people here, too! Nobody here is 'normal', so I'm sure you won't be bored."
