Today's school day was the normal same old. But dance that was a different matter. Paige, Kendall, and Asia have alll teamed up against me and I don't know why.
Abby called me in for my solo rehearsal. She kept yelling all these corrections at me. There was one thing she said that really bugged me. Abby said, "Come on, Mackenzie! Maddie did this dance when she was nine and you're thirteen. You can dobetter than that. You don't even look like you're even trying."
My first thought, She did not just say that. I was gonna say that aloud but instead I said, "Abby, I know my sisters your favorite and you want me o be LIKE her, but right now it sounds a lot like you want me to BE her." By now tears were streaming down my cheeks. "No matter what you say I will never ever BE Maddie. I will always and FOREVER be the one and ONLY Mackenzie Frances Ziegler! You want me to be LIKE Maddie and you keep yelling all theses stupid corrections at me, but can't you see that I'm TRYING!" And with that I stormed out of the room tears streaming down my face and I ran to my mom's car who was waiing for me. She didn't even bother asking me what's wrong because she knew it was Abby.
We drove home in silence. I walked to my room, put on my pajamas, walked over to my bathroom sink, picked up my blade, and sliced two more nice, deep cuts into my wrist. I went over to my bed and cried myself to sleep.
