It's been four months since the accident with Asia and the broken arm. Now, my arm is healed and I can dance perfectly fine except sometimes I have to wear and arm brace thing. I didn't really bother though.
I walked into the studio wearing a pink crop top with a black lace long sleeve crop top over it and black dance shorts. My hair was in a ponytail with a yellow flower in it. The flower was added to make me feel like a little girl again.
Abby called us in and started the pyramid:
Maddie
Chloe Tyler
Nia Me ?
I raised my hand. Abby said, "Yes Mackenzie?"
I said, "I was just wondering; what's the last sheet?"
"You're getting ahead of me, Mackenzie," she said; then added. "We will be having a new student join our team and it is another boy. He is.......drumroll please.........disney star of Jessie, Luke Ross."
A average-heighted boy with dark brown, curly hair and tons of freckles walked in. He was actually kinda cute. What am I saying? I have a boyfriend.
"Luke," Abby said. "Can you tell us about yourself?"
Luke said, "Yes. I'm Luke and I am sixteen years old. My mom is Christina Ross and my dad is Morgan Ross. I've been dancing since I was about six. I have three siblings: Emma Ross, Ravi Ross, and Zuri Ross. All of us except Emma were adopted."
I looked over to Chloe and she was staring at him dreamily; then, I looked over to Maddie and she looked the same way. I also saw Luke staring at Chloe. This means trouble for my sister and my best friend. We're all doomed.
Abby continued, "Okay this week we will be heading to Los Angelos, California for Starbound. We have a goup dance, a duet, a trio, and one solo. The group dance is a jazz routine called Loser Like Me. It will feature Mackenzie as a bullied girl that finally stands up for herself. The duet will be Tyler and Mackenzie; it is a contemporary routine called Fearless. The trio will be Maddie, Chloe, and Luke; it is a jazz/acro routine called Girlfriend. The one solo will go to.........drumroll please...........Nia; your dance is a contemporary routine called Brave." Nia had the biggest smile I have ever seen on her face. Abby said, "Okay moms leave, everyone else spread out and stretch."
"Hey, Chlos," I said. "I saw you eyeing the new guy. And I'm pretty sure he was eyeing you too."
"Really," Chloe cried. "I'm gonna go talk to him. Bye." And with that, I was left alone.
