"You guys, I don't know..." We stopped jogging and I took a sip of my water. We started to walk back to Demi's house."C'mon Caitlin! You have to go out with us!" Ariana and Demi was trying to persuade me to go out. "I don't think I'm ready though," I frowned, thinking about the last time I went out. "Caitlin you have to go out someday! You can't just stay at home on the weekends!" Ariana stated. "Maybe it's time to move on..." I furrowed my eyebrows. "Justin was my first and only love! This isn't some teenager shit. What we had was real, and I ruined it the last time I went out," My throat tightened and my eyes pinched. "I'm just...not ready yet. Everything reminds me of him, everything! It's not as easy as you think!" I started to cry. "I'm sorry Cait," Ariana hugged me and so did Demi. I pulled away and wiped my tears and sweat. We slowly went back to our normal conversations, but I was still frustrated.

Why can't I move on?

""What should we do now?" We all took showers and got ready after our jog. "We should go to the beach," Ariana suggested. "Sounds fun." Their heads snapped towards me and they had huge smiles on their faces. "Really?" I nodded. "Well let's go!"

"Finally!" We had been looking for a parking spot for about half an hour. "We picked a good day to be at the beach," The beach was packed. There were families everywhere you looked. We found an empty spot and laid out our things. "What do you guys wanna do first?" I asked while putting on some sunscreen. "First we gotta look out for some hot guys!" Demi and Ariana high-fived. "Well I'm gonna go get some ice cream, you guys want any?" They shook their heads. "I'll be back.""Oka- ooh Dem, there goes one right there!" I giggled as they talked about boys like they're a rare species. I ordered a mint ice cream cone and stated walking back to the sand.

I was almost by the girls when I felt two pairs of arms wrap around my legs. "Mommy!" I looked down and smiled. "Hey guys, what are you doing here?" I hugged them. "Can I have some?" Jayden asked. "Yes, but you need to share with your sister." I handed him the ice cream cone. "You guys can't just run off like that!" Justin jogged up to us out of breath. "Hey Caitlin, who are you here with?" He asked. "Dem and Ari," I kept my answer short and sweet. For some reason I was nervous around him. It was either because of our awkwardness, or the fact that I'm half naked. "You here with the boys?" I looked around for the crew. We still hang out, but not as much. "Actually I'm here with-""Hey Justin, who's this?" A blonde haired, very tanned girl with curves in the right places linked her arm with Justin's. When she did that I could literally feel my heart breaking. "Caitlin meet Chantel, Chantel meet Caitlin." She smiled and lightly waved. I seriously couldn't tell if she was being sincere or not. I lightly smiled back, trying not to hate her already. Maybe she's nice. We stood in silence for about two full minutes. "Well, nice meeting you," I turned on my heel and sat in the middle of Ariana and Demi. "Y'know what? I'm going out tonight."
