Arrival...
3:00 pm Italy
Touchdown!
There's no backing out now, I arrived in Italy.
I'm sitting here on the bench writing. I was strictly instructed to wait for the chauffeur to come. I wonder why?
It's kinda warm here in the airport though. Probably because it's already summer in this country.
Summer, my not so favorite season. If there's anything I hate about the weather, it's the extremes of the seasons. I don't like the very hot weather of summer and very cold temperature of winter.
... I here someone calling my name must be the chauffeur.
========
7:10 pm
I'm now in my new home here in Italy. I'm finished unpacking all my stuffs, I changed into PJ's and I already ate my dinner.
Now, writing in this journal is my last routine for the day.
After the airport, the chauffeur came. He chaperoned me to Aquillis, the publishing company where I'll be working. The office was inside of a grand villa. There I met the owner of Aquillis, Signora Isabella D'Angielo.
She insisted on being only called Isabella. It's a bit awkward addressing her in first name basis since she's a beautiful woman in her late 50's.
She briefed me on what my jobs were, which were mentoring the new writers for their magazine and being a part of the editorial department.
We talked more after that. Mainly about the house I'll be living and whom I'll be living with.
Nadia and Nicolas Florentine, twins, grandniece and grandnephew of Isabella. They also work in Aquillis, also the same age as I am.
"They're nice children don't worry", she said. I hope so...
It's already 6 pm when we finished talking. She jokingly said that she wish her son would talk to her for this long too. I asked her why but she just laughed in reply.
She escorted me back to car and we waved goodbye.
Half an hour later we arrived at the house. It was a two-storey brick house with an iron gate and a small pathway to the main door.
No one was inside just like Isabella told me. The twins were on a vacation since it's weekend but they'll be back tomorrow.
I felt at ease as I stepped inside. It's very homey.
My room is on the 2nd floor near the terrace. This room is a bit weird honestly. I can't pinpoint what it is but I'll know it eventually.
...
I fell asleep while writing. I'm going to bed.
Big day ahead.
Good night Cara...
