Ten

Cody's POV- June 2017

I took a deep breath before pushing the door open. Making my way out of the locker room, I smiled at the security guard.

"Good game"

"Thank you" I accepted.

I adjusted my backpack on my shoulder before turning to him.

"Have a nice afternoon" I told him.

"Thank you"

He wish me a good afternoon as I made my way towards the family room. I quickly spotted Maddy who was sitting in between both her brothers. Making my way over, one of them looked up at me. I offered him a smile and chuckled as he jabbed Maddy with his elbow.

"Hey" I breathed out.

Maddy stood up and smiled.

"Hi, good game" 

I kissed her cheek and gave her a squeeze.

"Thanks" I told her as I pulled away.

Both twins were now up as well, and looking at me with curious eyes.

"Boys, this is Cody"

One of them looked away from me at Maddy and smiled.

"We know who he is Maddy"

She smiled.

"Just in case you didn't"

He scoffed.

"Cody, these are my brothers; Nathan and Noah"

Nathan was wearing a Kershaw jersey where as Noah was wearing a Seager jersey.

"It's nice to meet you both" I replied.

They were identical, which makes sense since they were...twins.

"Did you two enjoy the game?" I asked.

They both nodded.

"Yeah"

"Your sister has told me a lot about both of you" I stated.

Noah's eyes went wide.

"Were you with Maddy last night?"

I glanced up at Maddy who nodded.

"I was, we had dinner" I answered.

Nathan frowned a bit as he asked,

"Just the two of you?"

"Yes, we had sushi" I informed him.

"Did you two kiss?"

We did not, but I was hoping I would soon. The team was about to go on a road trip, and I wouldn't physically see Maddy for at least a week.

"That's enough"

Noah frowned at Nathan who simply shrugged as he crossed his arms.

"Would you two mind if Cody joined us?"

I smiled as they both shook their heads. 

"Please tell me you did not bring your car"

"I did not, Joc gave me a ride" I responded.

She nodded and looked away from me as Nathan cleared his throat.

"Should we head out?"

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and sent Joc a quick text. 

Don't need a ride back, thank you!

To which he replied, 

Have fun, not too much though 😏😏😏😏
