I glanced up as I heard a light knock on the door to my room.
"Come in" I called out.
The door opened and Manny stepped inside. He left the door open, and picked Poppy up before climbing up on my bed.
"Your mom said breakfast will be ready in ten"
I nodded and looked at my phone.
"I didn't think you'd be up this early"
It wasn't that early seeing as it was almost 11:30AM.
"Dad woke me up" I told him.
Dad called me about a half hour ago to make sure we were home. In order to avoid the heat, and slight traffic; Manny and I decided to drive back at night. We left a little after the game ended (at around 11PM and got home at 2:30AM). The drive back was fast, partially because I actually allowed Manny to drive. I was so tired that I forgot to text dad I was home safe and sound.
"You forgot to text him when we got in?"
"Yeah" I answered.
He shifted a bit so his head was also on the pillow my head was on.
"What are you doing?"
"Scrolling through instagram" I replied.
"Is your insta is set private?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, I decided to set it private about a month ago. I kept getting messages from people asking if I was dating William" I informed him.
He chuckled.
"Does William know about this?"
"Yup, he finds it incredibly amusing" I stated.
"The picture you posted last night does no justice to how good the corn dog really was"
I smiled.

"What is mom making for breakfast?" I asked as I looked at him.
He turned to look at me.
"I have no clue, but I saw tater tots"
My phone started ringing, making me turn back to look at the screen. I answered the call and put the phone against my ear.
