Chapter 2

THATS COLTON HAYNES AS MASON, HOT AF

      I'm sitting with my best friends Mason and Drew along with Ashley and her groupies and also a couple of jocks in the cafeteria, we are the most popular kids in school so in a typical high school setting, we get our own table which is at the center of the entire cafeteria so that other students could easily see us and the drama we create. I'm just sitting quietly with Ashley on my lap, I don't know why though but that girl, Kendal aka beast is still on my mind till now, yeah I don't give a damn about her and I am one of her bullies but I don't often bully her though, not physically that is, I don't know why I am feeling this way after our encounter in the hall way, I feel something but I can't decipher what it is yet.

"Bro, yo Noah, whats going on in your mind?" I immediately snap out of my thoughts and look at Mason who asked the question, "I really don't know men, I'm just not feeling alright"I feel someone place their hands on my chest and I look up to see Ashley looking at me with a sad look on her face, I actually forgot that she was there, "Baby, are you ok?" I roll my eyes at her, this girl doesn't take a hint that we have broken up but still she clings to me like a leech, "Firstly, don't call me baby, we broke up remember and secondly, its none of your business now get the fuck of my lap and leave me the fuck alone you slut" I say staring at her dead in the eyes, I see anger instantly blaze in her eyes and she gets up from my lap with a huff and leaves our table with her friends trailing behind her, that just left me with the jocks and my best friends, "And I removed the chair before she could sit down and just like that she fell on her butt and hit her head against the wall, I swear that was the funniest moment of my life, serves her right" I tune in to the conversation that was going on, "Who are we talking about?" I ask, "It's beats, I was just saying what I did to her in Physics class today, you didn't come early enough so you missed it" Jack says facing me now, when I heard her name, my heart beat went up a notch, I don't know what thats all about but I don't like it one bit, "Really, well to me you wasted your time on her, why don't you just leave her alone, she's ain't hurting anybody" I say with a shrug, everyone at the table looks at me with shock, "Dude, did you just defend her?" Jack asks me with disbelief in his voice, did I just defend her? what is happening to me, "No I didn't, I was just saying that we shouldn't bother ourselves with a nobody like her, she ain't important", Jack just continues staring at me, so does everyone else, "Dude, if you really did not defend her, then you have to prove it", "How do I do that?" "Well, lets just say that I dare you to get her to fall in love with you, when she finally confesses, then you have to embarrass her in front of the whole school, won't that be a good way to end senior year" he says with a smirk on his face, I turn to look at my best friends, I see Mason give me a disapproving look while Drew just shrugs, "So, you gonna do it King?" I look up at Jack again, "I'll do it".

    The bell rings signalling lunch is over, I get up from my seat and take my trash away before leaving the cafeteria, I'm still walking before I hear someone call my name, I turn and see Mason walking towards me so I slow down a bit so that he could catch up, "Dude, why did you accept the dare?" I just shrug and continued walking, "Bro, just forget the dare, even though beast is considered as nothing, no one should be treated that way, it won't be fair, we already pick on her so why do we have to make her life even more miserable" I stop in my tracks and face Mason, by then Drew is standing right beside me raising up his eyebrows, "Wait wait wait, hold the fuck on, don't tell me that you are pitying the mutt, are you?" he just shakes his head murmuring that is not the point, "Look Noah, Mason is right, I don't think you should do this, you will regret it" I also face Drew then look between them, maybe they are right, maybe I shouldn't do this but my pride won't let me, "She's a nobody guys, I'm sure that she will only shrug it off because this can't be the worse thing that we could have done to her, plus it won't take time for her to fall for me because well, I am the most desired guy in the whole school" they only shake their heads and together we make our way to our classes.
