KENDAL

"Thanks for the ride Noah," I say unbuckling my sit belt,

"Any time Kendy, if you want I can always pick you up at your house, my neighborhood isn't that far from yours," he says turning to face me completely giving me his full attention,

I look down at my hands as if they are the most interesting thing in the world,

"Well, I don't want to be a bother,"

"You aren't a bother Kendy,"

I look up at him in surprise, what the did he mean by that, I didn't dwell on it for long because he spoke before I did,

"It's already 7:50, classes will soon start, we should probably head out,"

"Yeah we should,"

I was about to step out of his car but he held my hand, I removed my hand from his because the bolt of electricity that shot through my hand was intense, I turn to look at him and he was staring at his hand too, did he feel it?

"Uhmm you stay here, I'll open the door for you," he says then leaves the car,

He jogs to my side then opens the door for me, I thank him quietly and he responds. Is it me or everyone is quiet all of a sudden?

Sure enough I turn around and I see my schoolmates staring at us in shock, most specifically me, what's their problem?

"Hey don't mind them, they are just jealous at how beautiful you look today," Noah whispers in my ear,

I blush not only at what he said but also at how close he was to me, if you asked me months ago if I would be close to Noah like this, I would have personally handed you over to the asylum,

"Come on, let's go before the bell rings,"

I just nod my head at him and start walking away with Noah walking beside me, while I'm like a nervous wreck at the stares I'm getting and the dirty looks thrown my way, Noah looks like he could care less, he must be used to it then. I feel something grab my hand, I look down to see Noah holding my hand, I blush looking up at him, he doesn't look back at me but I can see the smile forming on his face, I think I heard someone gasp just now,

"I got to admit, they make a good couple,"

"Yeah you right,"

"What the hell!!"

"Why is he with her?"

"Doesn't she look different?"

"Ashley is going to freak out,"

Even though I hear my sisters name, I don't bother because as long as Noah is with me, I don't have to be scared of her.

"Awwwww, you two make a cute couple," Mason says walking towards us with Drew in toll,

I just look down blushing again, I've not blushed this much in forever,

"Look Mace, she's blushing,"

"I know right, even cuter,"

"I didn't know that you guys were dating Noah?"

"WE ARE NOT DATING," Noah and I say simultaneously,

We look at each other at the same time then look away again, I'm blushing while he is scratching the back of his neck,

"Really, if you guys aren't dating then why are you holding hands," Drew says with a smug smile on his face,
