Nursery and Surprise

Alexandra's POV

We got home and the new house looks amazing. Buddy was happy to see us both and we got to designing the nursery. When is was finished being designed Draco sent the decorators the designs. We then went to my muggle doctor to check on our baby. When we arrived at the Royal London Hospital we were directed to a waiting room for expectant parents. This was the hospital where I'd be giving birth.

"Mr and Mrs Malfoy" a nurse calls our names. We followed her to Doctor Willows office room where I sit on the bed. Doctor Willows comes in and introduces herself before preparing the ultrasound machine.

"Well they both look fine" she says before turning to the screen to us.

"Both?" Draco and I ask her confused.

"You didn't know? You're having twins" she tells us pointing them out. "It looks like baby B was hiding behind baby A. But they are both healthy" she assures us after explaining.

"We're having twins" Draco says before smiling and giving me a big hug.

"Do either of you have a family history of twins?" the doctor asks us.

"Yeah on my dad's side, he was a fraternal twin" I tell her. 

"Then these two must be fraternal twins too, but there is a chance for identical twins" she tells us. "So I say you're about four months along, correct?" she asks and I nod my head. "So you'll give birth in March sometime next year" she tells us. "I'll make a more accurate production, closer to your due date" she adds.

So we book our next appointment and I call mum telling her about the twins. She was thrilled then we went to Malfoy Manor to tell his mother. She to was happy and asked if I had thought of any girls names while Draco attended to something else. When he returned we had tea before going home.

"Draco what do we do if we have doubles?" I ask him as we enter the house to be greeted by Buddy. Something felt different about the house and I went to the nursery. When I open the door I gasp to see it completely decorated how we envisioned it. Except with two cribs next to each other.

"What do you think?" Draco asks wrapping his arms around my waist.

"It's perfect, but how?" I ask turning in his arms to face him.

"I had done while we were at the hospital and then sent them a patronus while you spoke to mother. Saying we needed another identical crib" he explains pecking my lips. "Now as to your earlier question if we have doubles. I'll name the first boy and you name the second or if it's two girls. You name the first and I name the second" he states.

"Sounds like the most logical thing to do" I say and kiss him gently. "Now it's your turn to cook dinner while I pick the movie" I remind him.

"My mum would kill me if she knew we didn't eat at the dining table" he tells me chuckling.

"Who says she has to know?" I ask him giggling. He then goes to the kitchen while I pick a movie with Buddy. Then I feed him and set up the movie as Draco appears levitating two trays. "What have I told you about magic in the house?" I ask him.

"Not to do it" he mumbles lowering them onto the table. We have our dinner and I do the dishes. Before we continue to watch Night at the Museum. Afterward we prepare for bed Buddy already asleep on his bed. Draco made sure all the window and doors were locked while I got changed into one of his shirts. Then brushed my teeth and hair getting into bed.

"Goodnight Draco, I love you" I tell him as he climbs into bed in only silver bowers. He wraps his arms around me kissing my forehead gently.

"Goodnight my love" he tells me as I close my eyes. I hate that he has to go to work next week. He should of started a month ago, but we were on our honeymoon. So a Professor Slughorn was doing his classes until then. Draco invited me to go with him to Hogwarts, but I am about to start my course in Law. So we decided to go there tomorrow so he can show me around and he was also going to take me to Hogsmeade & Diagon Alley before our children are born. I was excited to see his world after showing him so much about mine.
