Chapter 20 - Silver and Bullets
***Maggie's POV*** (2 days after the fight AKA chapter 19)
"Why can't we just leave her body here?" Christina question no one in particular.
"We can't just leave here here silver." Ryan says using the nickname he made for her. She also made a nickname for him too. They were both weird and made no apparent sense at first, but it made sense after they both explained the nicknames.
Silver was the nickname Ryan made for Christina which was based on her wings and Bullets was her nickname to him based on his muscles and his shifting abilities ( A / N the eye thing).
Christina huffs and continues walking. Anyway, you see, Nicole turned into a human all because of my scratch legit right. Anyways we decided to bring her along with us for three reasons.
One being she might know some very useful information.
Two is she might be endanger and she's human now so that is against one of the councils most enforced laws, yet people break it still that is why there are hunters.
Three is that she might be useful some how other than information.
So we brought her along. Now we are on the hunt for Jared. We got some information from the council about him. The information is very useful, but it's not detailed at all. All we know is that he lives in a mansion and he is practically the leader of the vamps.
"Guys, quiet down" Nathan says, crouching behind a tall shrub "We found it"
"His mansion?" Christina questions.
"Exactly" Terry says
I look at the mansion and its absolutely stunning. It's white and has lots of windows. It's also decorated with patio seats and chairs surrounded by palm trees. There are two things that kills the beauty of this home. It is that it belongs to Jared and an enormous amount of armed and hungry vampires surround the mansion. Probably acting as guards.
"Guys I think she's waking up now" Ryan says
We all turn our attention away from the mansion to Nicole.
"Let's go back a little bit and set her down" Terry suggests
We all nod in agreement and do so.
We found a place that was pretty decent, yet it was still close to the mansion.
"Guys, she's starting to wake up" Christina says
***Nicole's POV***
I wake up to the sun beaming in my eyes. Although my eyes are still shut, the sun rays burn my eyes. Groaning, I put my hands over my eyes to block the sun. I sit up and open my eyes to see a bunch of strangers crouching over me. I let out an ear piercing scream and scramble to my feet.
"Nicole it's us" The familiar girl with auburn hair and blue eyes says.
"I know it you guys. Strangers right? Yea, I don't feel like getting killed, raped, or anything that's a crime just leave me alone. Please" I plead.
The boy with grey eyes whispers something to the girl with grey eyes next to her. The girl with grey eyes then closes her eyes and takes a deep breathe. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, and when they open there eyes it's different. Instead, of being grey the boys is red and the girls was purple. The boy now had long, sharp teeth, and the girl now had longer hair.
I stared at them in fear, confusion and astonishment. I blink and the boy is gone while the girl is smiling apologetically. "Sorry" she says, and I look at her in confusion until my knees buckle under me and black spots start to cloud my vision. The last thing I remember is that I fall into a pair of muscular arms.
***Adriana's POV***
"Was that really necessary?" Terry asks, referring to Ryan just feeding on Nicole until she was passed out, while leaning on a nearby tree trunk.
"Yes it was. Now go and get me the things on this list." I reply
Terry groans and walks to me and snatches the paper and reads it over.
"Where am I even going to get this stuff Audrey" He questions
"Look for it yourself. You guys are the helpers, and I am going to make the potion. Now go and start gathering the things on the list Terry" I command
Terry walks away into the woods grumbling how I'm bossy.
"Wizard right?" Nathan asks
"Exactly" I say "Now we shall wait for him to come back"
~10 Minutes Later~
"I'm back" Terry says jogging back to us with a hay sack in his hand.
I wait for him to walk over to me and start with the potion. I add the ingredients to a stone bowl, I found out here, that is over a wood fire. Then I stir and chant a spell into the potion and pour it out into a vile that Terry got.
I walk over to Nicole's knock out body and crouch down. I pour the potion into her mouth. She swallows it easily and I stand up and walk away.
"What was that?" Maggie questions.
"A potion that will recover her memory. If this doesn't work we might just have to do Plan B" I respond cleaning up the mess I made
"What's Plan B" She asks again. Gosh this girl is as curious as George.
"We will turn her into a vampire or even a werewolf again." I respond
She gapes at me and I just smile at her in return.
"Close your mouth you don't want to catch flies" I say
I close my eyes and take a deep breath feeling my hair return to it's original length and my eyes to their original color.
"Now let's make a plan" Nathan suggests
"For what the brat, Nicole, over there or the other brat in the mansion, Jared" Christina says
"Let's just make both" Maggie suggests
"Where do we start?" Nathan asks
"Lets start with Nicole and how shes in the picture" Terry says
With that we all huddle around and create a plan.
