Chapter 7

The ball rang and all of the students rushed into their classes.

Bae Jinyoung walked into the class without looking at me and went to sit on his own chair.

I bit my lip and looked down.

How am I supposed to apologise? I'm never the type to be the first one to make conversations, so it was hard for me, all the time.

Just then, a girl, who was holding a juice box knocked on the door and walked in with a smile on her face.

I looked up to see Sejeong walking towards me.

"Minkyung! You didn't come to the cafeteria today so I thought I would bring you a yogurt and- Oh! You have cupcakes!" she said, eyeing the box full of cupcakes.

"So, that's your lunch?" she added.

I looked at the box, and then back to her face. "This? No, no! This is someone else's, I think. Or maybe the person just messing around or something. Just, don't mind it!" I said and grinned.

I heard a snort coming from beside me, I assumed it was Baejin's but I decided to ignore it. He's probably still mad at me for spilling the drinks.

Sejeong felt the tension and swiftly put the juice box onto my desk before saying, "I have to go now! Bye, Minkyung and Baejin!" she waved and quickly exited the classroom.

I smiled awkwardly while Baejin didn't make effort to say anything and just laid his head on the desk, making his arms as his pillows.

I poked his shoulder, "Um, Jinyoung. I'm sorry about the... yogurt." He shot me glare and said, "Don't touch me." He went back to sleep and added, "It's fine. The yogurt, I mean. But don't call me Jinyoung." he mumbled on his arms.

I just nodded and prepared myself for the next quiz.

The students who got 70% and above could have a free period and go wherever they want. While another 14 students who failed to get 70%, had to do another quiz.

After doing the second quiz, the result that I got was 52%. I sighed, more tutoring sessions with Bae Jinyoung The Great.

All the students went to to their classes to continue on with the next lessons.

Bae Jinyoung rushed towards my desk and asked, "What did you get?"

"Uh, 52%." I said and furrowed my eyebrows. Is he going to be mad?

He sighed in relief and I could see a smile started to form on his lips, "See you at home." With that, he went back to his sit and sleep.

Did he just smile??????

The heck????? Is my result that funny to him??????

Or is he enjoying tutoring- no, torturing me in Math????

As soon as I got home, I put the box of cupcakes on the dining table and went to my room to shower and put on a knee-length jeans and paired it with a black tee.
