Chapter 6

I started to pack my bag since the school had ended.

"So, when is it?" I looked up to see Baejin, with his dark blue backpack, asking me a question.

When what?

I gave him a confused look and he sighed. "The tutor! Or are you cancelling the plan now?"

"Oh! No no, I'm not cancelling! I'm up for it whenever you want!" I replied with a shrug.

"Today, then." he said casually.

"Today? But, I'm not prepared-"

"Yes, today. I'll come to your house at 4 pm. Text me your house address. I left my phone number inside the calculator case." with that, he exited the classroom without looking back.

Inside... the calculator case? Did he already planned all of this?

As soon as I arrived home, I quickly took my phone from the pocket of my uniform since it's already 3:30 pm.

When I was about to find the calculator to look for Bae Jinyoung's number, I heard a male voice coming from the kitchen.

I furrowed my eyebrows and made my way towards the kitchen, completely forgetting about texting him.

I saw a tall blonde male sitting on a the kitchen island. His back was facing me so I couldn't see his face.

"Minkyung! Your brother's home! Come greet him!" mom said with a cheerful as soon as she saw me.

The blonde guy turned his head towards me and to my surprise, he looks so different just after 4 months.

"Hey, baby sis!" he hopped off the island and skipped happily to me with open arms.

"No no no! Don't hug!" I crossed my arms preventing him to hug me but it's a fail.

He pulled me into a bone crushing hug and I pinched his thigh. "You're blonde!"

He yelped in pain before replying, "Yes, I am! It looks good on me, right?"

"No, you look better with long black hair, though." I answered and mom snorted.

"That's the hairstyle that made your uncle almost fainted during his wedding." mom added with a laugh.

"Mom! That was the trend!" Minki said, pouting his lips, sulking.

Mom and I continued laughing until Minki pulled my left ear and tried to twist it.

"Ow ow ow! Okay, I'll stop! Jesus!" I rubbed my left ear and scoffed.

He chuckled, "By the way, I downloaded some new movies. Feel free to watch them while I'm gone!"

"Gone? Where are you going now?" I asked.

"Meeting my old friend, Minhyun!" he said happily. ISTG, he's always happy.
