"Thank you again for letting me use your laptop for this paper." I said.
"Girl, don't worry about it! Hey, are you going to Kyle's party?" Becka asked me as she put red lipstick on her plump lips.
"I was but I don't know if I want to. I need to get my homework done and shower." I replied.
"Okay then. I'll see ya later then. Bye!" She said before walking out of the room.
I wanted to go to Kyle's party, believe me! However, when you get a chance to change your life for the better, you're going to take it. If I could convince the Robbinsons' that I was more that a drunk drug addict, maybe they would let me live with them.
After I finished typing the papers for AP World History, I undressed myself and walked into the bathroom, which was connected to mine and Becka's room. The bathroom walls were a cream color with a grey tiled floor. I turned on the hot water and stood under it for a couple minutes. It was such a good feeling. I was warm for once.
As I was getting dressed after the shower, I heard Lizzy screaming "get off me, Jacob! Someone help!"
I sprinted out of the bathroom with an oversized shirt (provided by Becka) and underwear on. I tried to open Lizzy's door, but it was locked.
"Jacob stop! I said no!" She yelled frantically.
I slammed my body on the door to try to open it. After about 5 attempts, the door finally gave in and broke.
"Hazel! Thank God!" Lizzy exclaimed. She had tears streaming down her face. Jacob had her pinned to the bed, obviously trying to... yeah.
"Get off her, you freak!" I yelled before charging at Jacob.
"Oh no! Whatcha gonna go?" He mocked as he got off Lizzy. I punched him in the jaw, which shocked him. He tried to hit back but I dodged it. I knew how to fight! I lived on the street for a year. I finally was able to knock him unconscious. I grabbed Lizzy's hang and pulled her out of the room.
"Where are your parents?" I asked her.
"On a date. Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!" She cried as she threw her arms around me.
"You're welcome. Can I see your phone?"
"Why?"
"I need to call 911. You're still in shock so it's best if I call."
"Yeah... okay, yeah.. here."
