2:40 pm. The bell to go home rang and I walked down to Mr. Robbinson's classroom. When I walked in, he looked up from his desk and smiled at me. There were three other kids sitting in his classroom, busily working on homework. His daughter, the football quarterback, and Becka Stone, the best friend to the most popular girl in the school.
"Lizzy, Becka, and Jacob, this is Hazel. She will be staying with us as well." Mr. Robinson said to the other students in the room.
"Hey!" Becka smiled. "I'm pretty sure you're going to room with me. You're like really pretty, by the way."
"Thanks." I shyly replied. I sat down at a desk and pulled out some homework and started working on it.30 minutes passed until Mr. Robbinson exclaimed "Okay, kids! Pack up, lets go."
We all put whatever we were working on into our bags and followed Mr. Robbinson out to his car. Jacob sat in the front, Becka behind Mr. Robbinson by the left window, me in the middle, and Lizzy behind Jacob next to the right window. For being a teacher, Mr. Robbinson had a rather large house, but then again, his wife was a lawyer, so that explained a lot.
"Honey! We're home!" Mr. Robbinson shouted happily as we entered.
"Hey Sweetie! How was work?" She replied from the kitchen.
"It was good. We have a new recruit. Her name is Hazel." Mr. Robbinson explained.
"Hello Hazel! You're so beautiful. How are you?" She asked.
"I'm okay." I smiled.
"Well, dinner is almost ready, oh! Do you happen to be allergic to anything, dear?" She quickly asked.
"Not that I am aware of, no." I replied.
"Okay good! The food should be done in about 30 minutes. Becka, will you show Hazel around?"
"Yep!" Becka exclaimed happily. She grabbed my arm and started the tour of the large house.
