Well, turns out mom forgot her keys and she saw the board. My mom looked nervous, worried, and mad at the same time.

"Annie, what are these? What's happening?"

"Well..." I started off. I had no idea how to tell her this. So Tori did instead.

"Well, Melissa, for about a week we have been getting these weird letters," Tori stated, "and Annie and I are trying to figure out a pattern of when they are coming, and trying to find out who is doing it."

"I'm going to call the police," mom replied, "this is a serious topic that you two shouldn't have to handle. What if something happens to you guys?"

"Mom, we'll be fine. Plus, we haven't even went to meet them yet," Yes, I left out the part of the fact that the car accident occured on our way to meet them.

"Okay, fine, but you two have to call the police once you find out who it is,"

"Will do,"

"Okay!"

"Now, what did I forget?" Mom asked herself, looking around the apartment.

"Keys," Tori said.

"You guys can't go to The Keys yet, you just moved in!" Mom said. I facepalmed.

"No mom," I said, "You forgot your keys."

Tori handed them to her and mom left. Once I shut the door, I slid to the ground leaning against it. Tori and I looked at each other. We were kinda relieved to tell her, but we were scared too. We didn't want her to tell Tori's parents, because I bet that they wanted to hear it from Tori and I.

Tori's mom is engaged currently, to this nice guy named Ben. I really like him. Even though they aren't married yet, he is technically her dad already. Yes, he is a step dad, but he treats her just like a real dad would. I hope mom finds her soulmate one day. I've never had the experience of a dad that can stay.

Every time mom gets a new boyfriend, they only last for a few months. Except for Danny, they were engaged for a few years until they found out that they were never going to get married, and never be happy with each other.

Anyway, so we continued our work. We already found out the dates and times, so we are figuring out who is doing it.

We called about three of our friends, three of mine and three of Tori's. We are going to go to Coney Island, and I will find a way for them to write down something.

"Hey guys!" We said as we came into the building.

"Hey!"
"What's up?"

"Tori, are you feeling better?"

"I'm feeling great, thanks,"

"Alright let's go,"

"Go on ahead, we'll be with you in a second," I said to them.

"Tori, we have to tell them," I said.

"Okay," she said, looking bummed. I could tell that she prefered the idea of having them write something down, but it would be easier to tell them and to write down the letter in their handwriting.

Of course, I will hold the letter and tell them the words. If it was in front of them, and if one of them WAS the person behind all of this, they would change their handwriting.

"Hey guys," Tori said, "So we have to tell you something, and it's serious."

"What is it, Tori?"

"Yeah, tell us,"

"Well, Annie and I have been getting some pretty weird letters everyday ever since we moved in. And we haven't told anybody our address except for our friends and family,"
