TobiasPOV

Graduation I seriously right around the corner.
I'm ready for all this shit to be over, and to leave this place, before war.
I feel like sooner or later, it's going to happen, and I don't want Tris to be caught up in it.

Everything is going so well, I don't want it to fall apart, and my worse nightmare come to life.

Losing her.
I shake my head, a continue taking my last bit of notes for English.

She has applied for a few jobs down in The Bureau, which is where we are planning to move too.

We've looked at a few houses down there.
We don't really need at big one, but a decent sized one.
We haven't said anything to the gang about it, because we all know they are going to do everything in their power to know why, and to keep us here longer.

I think Tris told Christina, and only her.
She has kept her mouth shut so far.
I'm really to live this place.
So many bad memories, and a few good ones, that will follow us wherever we go.

The bell rings, and I go look for Tris.
She is talking to Christina, who still has an upset look on her face.
Tris sees me, and turns to Christina tightly.

She pulls away, and walks over to me.
"Hey." She says.
"Hey." I say back, pulling her to me.
She wraps her arms tightly around me.

"Christina can't stop talking about it." She says against my shirt.
"She is giving me plenty of reasons to stay, but she just doesn't know."

She pulls away from me, looking into my eyes.
"She says she's scared I'll make the wrong decision, and she won't be there to help."

I feel the same way, every day.

"I don't know what to do." She says.
"Well, she can always call you." I say.
She nods.

"Come on, lets go home." I say, holding my hand out to her.
She takes it, and we walk to the truck.

When we get in, she bursts into tears.
I cup her face in my hands, wiping the tears with my thumb off her cheek.

"Hey, everything is going to be okay." I say.
She nods, and rubs her nose.
I grab her hand.

"Since prom is in a about a week," I start, "would you like to go to the prom with me?"

I know I should have done something big and cheesy for her, like balloons and a poster in the back of the truck.

Put sometimes, being simple is better.

She covers her mouth with her hand.
"Of course Tobias!" She says, leaning close to me, kissing me gently.

"Thank you." She says, pulling away.

I smile, and we drive home.

<at the house>

We walk inside the house, and Theo and Nora attack us.

Tris laughs and picks up Nora, who is licking her like a maniac.
I pick up Theo, who does the same to me.
