Hiya, it's darkstars. I uploaded early?! And maybe you shall get another one on saturday... Right now, I have so many things planned for this story so hold onto your hats, it is far from finsihed. I enjoy writing it so it may be a while before it is finished.

Katarina..

I watched as Nik’s mate didn’t move to save her, where’s the romance gone? I glared at the vampire, flicking my wrist he fell to the ground I used a spell to get Nik by my side. More vampires started to appear, more than we could handle.

Putting my back against Nik’s she took the hint and got into a fighting position, this is the start of the war. Why would they come here? What did they want? A million questions floated through my mind, with no answers.

One blonde vamp ran at me, taking me down. “I was the one to turn Dimitri…” Her eyes were on Nik as she spoke, I watched as Nik bit her lip, her hands curled into fists and she grabbed the blonde vamp and pinned her against a wall. “He wanted it, so badly.”

Nik was going to kill her very first vampire, I didn’t know what to do until a Therian ripped the blonde from Nik’s grasp. He was tall, with dark hair and ice blue eyes, he pushed Nik into my arms as I just stood up.

Dimitri was standing looking around, he couldn’t see me or Nik but the vampire who I had to save Nik from, however he spotted us right away. Then it clicked, he wants her… Think, why does he want the first female Original?

I learnt this over and over, the curse of course. Nik had a curse placed on her, the Original family did and it was said if there ever was a female, she would be able to create the most powerful supernatural creature ever all they had to do… Was draining her dry in a sacrifice ceremony.

They needed four things for it. Nik, a vampire, a Therian and a witch which explains why they came to the castle, they could get all four here. Take a witch, Nik and  two Therian’s one would be changed into a vampire.

He advanced grabbed her hair, surprisingly I was so in channel with the other witches. I made him fly across the garden. No one was touching Nik, she was my Original I don’t think people understand how hard it was for me to get appointed to her.

Something hit me over on my sensitive spot, the one spot where you can gain more control than a witch. And I blacked out, the last thing I saw was Nik’s mother, Queen Cora putting her skirt back on.

My mother fastened my skirt back on, I honestly don’t understand her and maybe she needed to stay busy or whatever I didn’t say anything. I picked up Katarina as she fell to the ground, my eyes were met by those green eyes I once loved so much.

He was making my life a living hell, “Is this your revenge?” I asked, trying to keep my voice strong. When he didn’t answer, I snarled. “Is it?! Because if it is, kill me not innocent people.”

“I never wanted to kill anyone…” He admitted and looked away from me.

“You sided with our enemy’s, you’re my enemy now. They killed my brother, my two year old brother. That blood is on your hands as well.” I passed Katarina to Ben, who tried to grabbed me but failed.

“I am truly sorry, Nora.”

“I should have let the guards kill you, but for some insane reason I protected you. Your death will be by my hands, no one else’s.” I shifted and ran, I ran so far no one would be able to smell me out.
