I was allowed to be around Dimitri whenever I wished as long as Simon was there, but when Dimitri started drifting further and further it hurt. I did something, and the worst thing about it was, I never even felt bad.

We always got new faces around here, and I took advantage of these men. They didn’t mind, who wouldn’t want a princess lying naked in their bed with them? I mean I should feel bad, but I can’t help it.

Maybe it’s because I can be around Dimitri when I want, I’m getting bored. I rolled over and met the eyes of Damon, a beautiful man who wanted to give me everything I’ve ever wished for. His blue eyes roamed over my body and pulled me close.

“Damon, you need to go.” I told him, he kissed me one last time before getting dressed and saying goodbye. I was never sick of this running around, I liked it.

Once the door shut, I got up and showered quickly. I knew Simon would be around soon, he was still my bodyguard for the time being. I dressed in shorts, a vest top  and some wedges. There was a knock at my door, I opened it to see Simon standing there.

Waving him in, I sat down as I dried my hair and applied some makeup. “What are we doing today Simon?” I asked and he held no emotion like he usually did. “Something wrong?” I said and scrunched my hair which was curly now.

“The fact, your cheating on my brother? Nothing.” He snarled and made his way to my door, but I bet him to it. I locked it and pushed him into a seat.

“You don’t tell me what I’m doing. Your brother and I have a complicated relationship, I command you not tell him.” I snarled and knew as soon as I commanded someone it was physically impossible for them to do it.

“Your nothing but a slut.” He whispered, and I took a step back. That cut me deep, I slapped him across the face.

“I am the princess, how dare you talk to me like.”

“Start acting like one and I’ll treat you like one.” He pinned me to the wall.

“What do you want me to do? Dimitri doesn’t want to be around me, and I’m a women who has needs,” I pushed him off and he fell to the floor with a bang. I walked over sitting my foot on his chest. “Your job is to protect me, not judge me. You should learn, we are not friends. You work for me and that is all.”

I turned around and walked into the kitchen, seeing my mother and SJ. I sat down and she handed me him. I had bonded a lot with him, but what confused me is why he didn’t have amber eyes? Maybe he was different like me.

Simon walked in after me, standing near the door. I looked over and smiled at him. Dimitri walked through the doors, my heart did a flip I may be sleeping with other men but Dimitri will always be my mate.

Dimitri looked me over and shook his head. I handed SJ back and walked to the garden where he was headed. I asked Simon to leave to us for ten minutes, he nodded and I grabbed Dimitri’s arm.

“What is your problem?” I snapped at him. He pushed me against a wall, holding my hips looking me in the eyes, he kissed me.

“Your mine and only mine Nora.” He whispered into my ear, before doing the worst thing he could ever do. He marked me.

“Dimitri, do you have a death wish?” I snarled and pushed him off me.  “You just fucking marked me.”

“I know you’ve been with  other men, I want them to know your taken.” He snarled at me.

“My father will see this, you absolute reject!” I punched his chest and he stood there not moving. “I may be with other guys but that’s only because you’re not giving me attention. And now, you won’t be around because you had to be jealous and mark me.”

“I can’t give you attention because if I do, I’ll fall even more in love with you!” He shouted,  and I stood there gobsmacked. He just said he was in love with me, oh my god. “Your father will punish me if I love you, or worse… He’ll punish you if you love me. Why do you think I’ve been so distant?”

“Because you didn’t want me. What else was I meant to think? You never told me any of this, I had a right to know before I got the wrong idea and started sleeping with other people.”

“No, you didn’t have to know. If you can’t stay true to me, then we can’t be mates.” He snapped, walking away from me.

“Dimitri, you don’t mean that.” I ran after him, stopping him. “Please say you don’t mean that.”

“I should have rejected you that night. Nora I am rejecting you, goodbye.” He whispered and kissed my forehead before taking off. He was gone, I didn’t have a mate anymore.

Hi guys, it's Jaye! The author in case you didn't know. Anyway, I'm so sorry for taking so long to update. I have a million and one  things going on in my life right now and I'm not going to list them, because they are not the reason I haven't uploaded. I got preoccupied with something else but I will at least try and update once a week and if your lucky maybe two?
