SHELBY'S P.O.V

it was warm and pleasant wherever i was. nature was growing all around me at a slow but quick pace. i could hear a waterfall in the distance," wherever i am its pure paradise." i said as i layed back on a giant pink flower that was growing beneath me. yet as i was relaxing, i heard a scream and i suddenly got up and sprinted to where it came from. a little cottage was nearby, it was bursting in flames and out came two oddly familiar faces "SHELBY!!!!!!!!! RUN NOW!". they screamed. i started sprinting away into the forrest i came from, but instead of it being cool and pleasent, it was dark, gloomy, and cold. i kept running with tears in my eyes as i ran into another familar she-devil i fell to the ground terrified as she smiled at me saying "hello there spirit maiden.". i heard the ground shaking as i curled up into a ball terrified as everything went black.

"shelby?" "shelby?!" "SHELBY WAKE UP!!!!!!". max screamed in my ear. i sat straight up in my bed. ugh the same dream again i've been having this dream for two weeks every night. it looks like i scared max half to death to, i was staying in his and my cousin ross's house that week for a vacation since i don't wanna go a to hotel. "shelby are you ok? you look like you've seen a ghost.". max asked. "h-huh? um yea i'm ok- it's just a stupid dream no big deal. why are you up anyways?". i responded. "uh ross is the reason i'm up didn't you get his weird text?". max asked. "max is 3:00 a.m in the morning, i can't read texts when i'm asleep.". "yea whatever just check it anyways ok?". max said. then i pulled out my phone to see i did get a text from ross in a group chat including adam,cory,max, and some other people with me.
it said

"hey guys i need help, come to the mall plz -yours truly, ross.".

"th-that is weird are we gonna go then?". i said "well only if you want to i guess, it is really early in the morning after all. i don't even want to go but i have to, ross is like family to me. if he needs help i'll be there for him.". max said cheerfully. "then i'll go to, it'll be nice to see cory again if he's going..we are dating after all.". i said. "then off we go! c'mon get dressed and i'll meet you outside in my car.". max said as he walked out the door to also get dressed. i slipped into my normal grey shirt with two white lines on it, a navy skirt and some ugs and walked out to max's car. he was wearing his usual golden Z necklace with a black sweater with a grey stripe through it, and some jeens. we both got in the car and he started driving over to the mall. "hey max?". i asked. "are you worried about ross? this is really unlike him, what if something bad happened to him? what do we do?". "hey ross is going to be fine, i promise. i'm sure it's not that bad.". max said. huh i wish i could believe him
